LIBERAL TO ONLY WHITE SKINNED PPL ... FOR FELLOW INDIANS THEY ARE RACIST AND VERY CHEAP IN TREATMENT
When the Prime Minister of this country doesn't have any self-respect, doesn't mind being a servant of Rajmata Sonia ji, doesn't mind licking feet of Pakistan again & again even after 26/11, why should we Indians have any problem not accepting this harassment.

So what??....you fool you r saying this because you r not in the receiving end.....btw how Indians harass visiting dignitaries ??
Indians are the greatest racist themselves and not to mention hippocrates as well. They are the first ones to raise the race card and they use it very well to manipulate the poor british people. I am gonna write to the authorities to educate them about the devious ways the indians think.

Well said! I agree. Indians are racists and still consider being fair skin to be better than dark one.

@ shanmugakani pavithiran and akshat...you both are indian too.... Next time when you go to UK ..get happily abused by white....
We are a non assertive nation, divided amongst ourselves ( see several comments below ) - nothing of this sort ever happens to Chinese! We need to learn some lessons in assertive behaviour - of course do not expect any support from Government of India - it is full of self seeking politicians who are just blood suckers - donot expect much support from embassies and bureaucrats - they are just assistants to these blood suckers .. it has to be only US - those who suffer who have to fight - we need to spend some time and effort on this - it is inconvenient, but that is the only way!
Fellow Indians! Do not take to heart all that is reported by the media. We need to first learn the basic etiquettes particularly when we vist a foreign land. What works here does not abroad. I would agree with many who have commented on the same lines here. Learn to respect their culture, language, religion etc. We go past all the limits - speak our local / regional languages in their presence, play loud blasting music even in public places, shout/scream like animals, talk loudly, which can irritate/annoy people who are not used to such hooliganism and may retaliate. See what is happening in Australia and can even spread across other countries if we don't learn to behave. We might be geniuses in our own fields, but if no etiquettes, then we are comparable to worse than dogs.

I think you are missing something here; humans are a continuously evolving lot... so there will always be a scope for improvement whereever or whatever be the current state.... hooligans are everywhere too; thats why we have police to take care of the exceptions.
that said, we dont have the advantage of being at the incident spot and just have to go by what is being reported here. at most we can give benefit of doubt for a specific case of a team member left out... but if the reported incidents were a consistent behaviour and treatment given to Indian team then it a definetly a serious matter.
Also note that the team manager did not term it racism or anything; just a very dignified compliant to our own embassy to take up the matter while the team can concentrate on the sport.
PS: going back to etiquette, there is a limit to how much someone would 'change' adopt to a foreign land, especially if it is during short visits; thats where the inclusive nature of the host country is tested along with the temperament of the guests.

Sorry, I disagree! I am NOT missing any point. Humans are NOT processes to evolve, that's the reason why I said we Indians need to learn. There is also no quota or adoption levels/limits on etiquettes in a foreign land because unlike Indians, it comes naturally to them. For us Indians, a lot depends on our upbringing which stems from home. So do not try to teach on etiquette limits because we need to learn them a 100% no matter what - whether a short visit or long one.

Yeah, because rest of the Indians are OK, we are facing so many problems abroad including recent Australian attacks. Think before you make absurd comments!
