One major problem with us most Indians is the lack of confidence when we face westerners. This is even applicable to our prime minister who on visits to any western country looks nervous when facing the press or dignitaries there. One contributing factor is definitely the English accent which most of them feel very uncomfortable when interacting with these westerners (at least in most cases).

then indians should speak hindi or their regional languages even if they know english, and should hire services of an interpreter. even all foreigners dont speak english well, look at their accents who dont have english as their mother tongue. so there is nothing to feel low on confidence due to english.

yeah, ur right in saying that there is nothing to feel low in confidence but then thats the way is it buddy. May be its just a natural thing which fades of after a certain phase.

actually you know we indians have a problem that we dont feel proud of our own language, culture, we find everything imported much better. Atal Bihari was the only PM i think who gave a speech in Hindi in UN if i remember correctly. its not just about hindi but about all our regional languages. we should be happy and proud that we have so many languages and so diverse cultures. it is a thing which doesnot exist anywhere else in the world. on the contrary people think that the one who speaks hindi is illiterate or something , i just feel hurt about this. look if we dont know how to respect our own culture the foreigners will definitely behave likethis with us. this never happens with germans , french why , only with us . think about it :)
The manager accompanying the team, the IHC and Indian government should take up this insult to the game organizers and government. The culprits needs to punished. The best way to get revenge is to win the tournament which will be a slap in the face for these people from the black ages.
