Anyways we should shove cricket lower and lower down in our priority of sports.

Other sports in INDIA need breathing space.
Let us promote SOCCER, HOCKEY, GYMNASTICS,
RUGBY, TENNIS, BADMINTON, TABLE TENNIS, ARCHERY, SWIMMING .....

So much of time and talent is wasted....
because of our asinine adherence to cricket.

I think they saw the name ends in "-ov" and decided he should be Russian. If Kasparov and Karpov can be Russian, why cant Topalov be??!! ;) This is Rediffian logic.
