Complexion is a function of melanin which is a function of your exposure to sun.
Brahmins dont have to work in the sun which others have to. So brahmins remained fairer and others workind in the fields exposed to the brutal sunshine near to equator got darker.

There are more than 10000 Tournament participating Chess players in India alone.There are about 150 Countries whose Chess Federations are affiliated to FIDE and participate in the Chess Olympiads.There are many others who do not play yournaments due to other preoccupations but still follow the game. Followere on Twitter is not the one and only indicator of one's popularity or standing. Infact it is not an indicator at all in the real sense.
