The decision is right
by sasidharan pooppotta on May 04, 2010 04:47 PM

In my opinion, limiting the period of sports administers upto 12 years is a right decision & if I'm correct, the age limit for retirement is 70. This means an administrator should retire at this age in any case. This is all the more important. There should be a time for retirement in all the fields including in politics. If it (decision on retirement) is left to the individuals, then I'm sure majority in India will `serve' the country as long as they can stand with the help of a stick !

Sticking to the Chair is the Birth right of Politicians, How they can surrender it??????
They are in to the Politics to occupy some kind of Chair....if they are not allowed to retain it till Death...why they should come in to the Politics???? Do you really think they are in to the Politics to serve the People?? Nation??

Sports federation chiefs want unlimited tenure: Gill
by ynianand on May 04, 2010 04:42 PM

Yes, they should be given unlimited tenure of Five years and then kicked out for ever! These buggers are a burden on the nation, led by the crook Kalmadi. Fortunately, Gill, the kicked out Hockey Chief during whose tenure Hockey descended to a bottomless nadir is currently not with Hockey. Similar things should happen to other sports bodies also and politicians & bureaucrats should be banned from holding any post in any sports body unless he/she him/her self is an acclaimed sports person.

Support the Sports Minister

The Sports Minister very right. These people are heading various sports bodies for ages and who knows how much they would have gobbled up all these years.

It is high time that the government takes strong actions to remove these people from their existing positions. Another thing all such sports bodies should be headed by people from the respective sports fields and not politicians and ministers who want to milk the sports body.

Good decision
by naveen aggarwal on May 04, 2010 04:13 PM

It is a very good decision. At least young people can come and handle the sports federation. The joker like V K Malhotra who is truly a comic character played for 31 years and achieved nothing should be immediately removed. He is not fit for anything.
