India not happy
by Hirendra Chatterjee on Mar 02, 2010 12:35 PM

The technical director has scored a goal against India and in favour of his ocuntry by punishing Shivendra for no fault of his. This is blatant bias that Europeans and Australians share routinely against Asians. When the aggrieved party (Pakistan) did not protest and the referee who was standing yards away did not even give a foul, who is this racist to intervene and punish Shivendra? India should win the match against Australia. That will be a tight slap on the face of racists like this sinister Australian "technical director".

I fully agree with the views expressed ,I have seen the clips of incident .You do not even need to be an expert to differentiate between a DELIBERATE HITTING and an unintentional one .The clips are very clear ,what you need to call it a DELIBERATE one your own self interest. THIS IS NOTHING BUT BLATANT MISUSE OF AUTHORITY VESTED IN DIRECTOR FOR CONDUCTINF free and fair tournament

a very harsh decision ... i saw the video of it , no where it was done intentionally , i think why australians and english are given the respite for it...it is decrimination , we should take a stronger decision to stop this .... this is not happenning good with us , we should oppose the decision of authorities ...

technical director of hockey world cup is an Aussie !!!!!!
by thelma anto on Mar 02, 2010 12:26 PM

I AM HAPPY TO START THE FIRST MESSAGE.....

its pretty sad that the technical director is from australia and that india have to play australia today. also, australia has lost its first match and are in bad shape.... so to make sure india cannot win , this official has made sure he levelled a false allegation against one of our better players and made him sit on the bench for the next 2 matches. indians are always at the recieving end of stupid decisions in hockey for the last 2 decades and since we dont have the guts to tell white-skins to just MIND THIER OWN BUSINESS and to F-O.

this is plain mean-mindedness on the part of a racially-biased official.

its different in cricket since BCCI is a very rich organsiation and the call the shots in the ICC.

best regds to our players for the match with australia today.

ban on Shivendra
by GANESH KALYANSUNDARAM on Mar 02, 2010 12:23 PM

It is an irony that the games that was dominated by Indian and Pakistan is being controlled by people who were taught the game.

It is the fault of Hockey Federation in India and Pakistan to have allowed such a situation.

They changed the games rules, policies to suit their style so that they can dominate the game.

It is a high time that India and Pakistan should boycott such games where decision time and again have gone against them.

I am sure the other asian countires will definitely support.

With the support of Asian countries we can easily stop such dictorial decision by the FIH.

There are more asian countries playing hockey than the European nations.

Bl o o d y Cheating Aussies At It Again
by Vinayaraj Ramachandra on Mar 02, 2010 12:21 PM

Australia have already fired the first salvo reducing India's strength..This is sickening!! India should respond by playing with much more aggression in the next match..The height of Indian bureaucracy bungling is to label the match as a 'Friendship' Match. The Aussies must be rolling over in laughter on this stupid move despite the stab in the back by their main stooge Ken Read.
