Expect to hear the exact same thing from Congress Govt and Congress owned sports Ministers. These Congress politicians know only to secure their and their families future, and when sportspersons will fail, crocodile tears will be shed and blame will fall with organizers and sports stars.

Not much of a majority. 50% muslims and 48% christians. It is a matter of politics that's all.
its an irony that a non-performing government has to do it! nigeria is known for only one thing - thats the great nigerian scam. little else these days.

Mr.Lankapat, as if there is no poverty in your Sri Lanka! What are you doing here in this Indian messege board. Oho, I forgot, there are any Srilankan sites, I guess.
It is unfortunate that politicians who fail miserably other than enriching their personal coffers interfere in the operation of sporting bodies. We can not completely blame the players alone for the failure of the team. Winning in any field is a process of perseverance, practice, a bit of natural talent and lots of luck (sepp blatter will vouch for this). As far as the indian cricketers are concerned, it is the indian public that make them as super heroes which they are not. we create politicians, we create superheroes in cricket (though it would be wrong to put cricketers in the same line with the politicians).
same should be done to indian cricket team, they have become fat with all the IPL money , only if banned for 4 years, they can reduce the fat, and start playing better game and for country.

Please don't speak this sh*t about our poor Indian cricketers, they earn only in millions and still lose.

i'm surprised to see the wisdom of Mr. President. Now I understand why Nigeria is an under developed country and I'm confident it will remain underdeveloped under Mr. Jonathan's leadership. Goodluck Nigeria, may God save u all.

Yeah, they took the cue from the Indians, who've been organising their team since ages !
And as the joke goes...
The Indian Football team went to visit an orphanage in Calcutta this morning -
