ITALY DESERVES EXIT
by GOPALSWAMY RAMESH on Jun 25, 2010 02:28 PM  | Hide replies

they deserves 100% for this first round exit, bcs in the last world cup finals they didnt won by playing their player said some thing stupid to the Great ZIDANE and made him angry and got a PENALTY and then they won. It is not a sporting way to play.Thats why i say they deserve to be lossers.

mr satya singh..your views are pathetic like you. why you feel so happy if Italy exists from world cup.. They were champions before and qualified this time, is'nt it good enough. They can bounce back at any time, they have so much talent, unlike India who will never qualify for Soccer in the near future. You are not qualified to comment like this..

I don't know why are you wasting your precious time commenting on other countries. Do make celebration about Indian truimpt at Asia Cup in Sri Lanka and don't bother about the game where India is not playing.

Cricket is a comedy show - 8 teams 4 of which are part time. All teams have just Indians, Srilankans an Pakistanis in it in different jerseys - all lipid sacks. Practically 3 worthless nations playing a worthless game. Just one footballer in any of these countries make big - that will be THE END of cricket comedy show.

Yes what you said correct. The pitiable thing is out of 110 crores population, we don't have 11 football players to represent on behalf of India in World
Cup Finals and that time will never come in future point of time even.

Enough of watching a ball trying to hit three stumps, while every man is created with a stump shielding two balls...it is high time those balls are taken out and kicked liek a foot ball...shame on us not to produce a foot ball team... but i think we like to get our balls whacked for a six or a four...

Azzurri-The diving cheats
by Anand Sanjeevi on Jun 25, 2010 02:15 PM

Italians deserve to loose. Awful defending against Slovakia. All their histrionics, diving did not help them. They could have lost the game against New Zealand if not for the fake diving, which earned them a Goal by penalty kick. At last Good riddance. Solvakians deserve to go to the next round. Bravo! Slovakia.

Why doe link any sport with politics. Politics is a game where people literally kick and punch each other because the qualifications required to be a politician are murder, cheating, extortions, gundagiri, confidence tricksters and above all liars.

Lost because of poor defense!
by Sawaldas Jethani on Jun 25, 2010 02:00 PM  | Hide replies

Watched the entire match yesterday (the only match I have watched completely). Slovakia were nowhere near Italy on the field especially in terms of dribbling, passing & shooting. Italy lost because they did not know how to defend. When slovakia shot all its 3 goals, there were twice the no. of Italian players in the D as compared to slovakia. None of the italians were covering the slovakians. During the last goal, there were about 8 italians n only 3 slovakians in the D. None of the 8 italians were covering their opponents. It seemed as if the coach had forgetten to tell his team how to defend or maybe they never thought slovakians would ever come to Italy's D.
