you are forcible trying to put your interest of soccer on others , I have seen you talking about soccer in other forums and people just asked you to buzz off, didnt they? Man , let football grow or not , even at its peak it will remain only 5 % of Cricket in India , the game which has dominated the scene remains dominant forever. Football was once an alien sports in usa , but they qualified for the world cup and even hosted on, they brought david beckhem to popularise football , but no avail , there wud be few football takers in usa , but the common american is only interested in baseball , basketball, no one has the potential to shift their status, same in china , where basketball is number one game , and australia where australian rules is number 1 game.

FOOTBALL VS CRICKET
by Sukumar Bera on Jun 12, 2010 12:47 PM  | Hide replies

If cricket is to be praised then first let our team win a WORLD CUP. Sachin plays for money and remains injured when required. Atleast in football we support a team and it looses no issue, caus when our own country cannot perform why point a finger on others.?

I think ur cricketing knowledge requires an update. FYI India has won 1983 WC, 2007 T20 WC and are currently the N0.1 Test side. There is some lack of form now-but we will sure bounce back for 2011 WC.

Sachin never plays for money, he can easily earn more money, its his passion for game and pride in country thats takes him to this level...ofcourse, cricket without sachin is dud...football always interesting than cricket.

Cricket will always be the Number one game in India by a long distance, football can never come close to it .

Introduction of Twenty Twenty cricket and most importantly the IPL has virtually killed the chances of football ever making it Big in India.

Cricket is the best game and diffrent from all other games. No game has three unique formats as cricket has and each one of them is interesting. Take a bow to this great game. Dont compare with cheap futbal.

so you mean that if tomorrow pele's son brought a stake in mumbai indians team , then cricket is all the way to become the number one game in the country. my friend this silly domestic football drama in india is going on for 150 years , viva kerala this that but whats the use , the IPL has earned in one year which they havnt in their entire lifetime , says it all.

Messi and Ronaldo are not enough to clean the shoes of Sachin.
Sachin is a mountain which someone like messi or tussi cant climb in their lifetime!!

Football game is next to GOD
by avelino mendonca on Jun 12, 2010 12:25 PM  | Hide replies

Football is the best game watched by the world. Every country on the planet watches them and the players are famous. In cricket which is the worst sport to watch and play only 8 countries play and even the great players of cricket are recognised in only few countries. If you compare Messi or Ronaldo with
Sachin Tendulkar it is like comparing a boss which is messi to a servant like tendulkar

i think you are at 90's. now cricket is palying with 12 countries and in future 16 countries. dont compare any games with other. if messi and ronaldo are stars of football, sachin is the star of cricket.

check ur knowledge quotient dude, sachin is famous that we all know but messi and ronaldo has far more fan following than sachi, Cricket is very small in compare to football...the passion, excitement and adrinaline rush is so much high in football than in cricket..

Btw i love watching tennis too , at times its also an exciting game when two giants are competing against each other , for example Nadal versus soderling or Nadal versus federrer, there is excitement involved in every minute of tennis.
but football , yuck , i cant stand just one goal scored in 10000000 minutes ,
