he is up thr with the grts but calling him Champion is a bit early i wud say...couple more wimbledon, US and australian wud be great...most of these achieved wit fedex still playin wil add icing on the cake... i still believe Borg was the grtest tennis player followed by Sampras and fedex...we keep sayin this tat the grtest Cricket team was the Windis in the 80's no matter how good the australian have a record its the same case wit Sampras he had one of the best tennis players in his era...

tat wud b goin to deep into hall of fame..havnt seen him on tv so cant comment...but as per record only player to win all the grand slams twice i think if im not wrng in the same year..

when Laver played , Aus open was played on grass...there was nothing called deco turf that time also ...
Best performance of sampras in FO was ONCE in SF ...it was very tough for him to make to the SF also...apart from that he doesnot have a good record agnst many players ...

He wasn't no 1 , when he came to Chennai. No no 1 has ever played in India. I am sure he will NOT be comming to chennai in 2011 season IF He remains at Top( no 1 )

Dont forget there were one Bjorn Borg and Ivan Lendll too, both were top class clay court players.

but nadal is the only one to win the CLAY SLAM-winning all 3 clay masters and the french open in the same year
It would have his 6th but for injuries last year. He is such a great player to watch in clay.All the 5 wins i have seen.Treat to watch.Age is by his side. We can see many more wins here.

Indian has rich like LaXMI MITTal whose interest is not India. China has lot of foreign trade in their favour, Pak is more concerned about who pays their bill, etc. MMS has concerns for his own interest..
