CWG Corruption
by MUKUL GARG on Jul 31, 2010 09:34 PM

In spite of glaring and blatant loot, Central government will take no action as Delhi is also ruled by Congrees party. Moreover, Congress is more focussed rather obsessed with Narendra Modi now-a-days than anything else.

Alleged corruption in CWG preparations.
by Amal Chaudhuri on Jul 31, 2010 09:28 PM

Mr.Gill should not have waited for making such a statement till the media reported the gross irregularities. Being the sports minister, he in any case is the CEO for sporting events & activities in India and accordingly he should remain at the top of the things for a mega event like CWG and accordingly should have taken pre-emptive steps to avoid this fiasco. But the biggest game in our country today is corruption and the star players are our politicians. So even if Mr. Gill really means what he said, which is certainly not doubtless, he perhaps will be reduced to a reserve bencher now onwards for the mega event.

CWG, Cong, Corruption
by Bodh Ramdeo on Jul 31, 2010 08:59 PM

Why all this brouhaha about corruption? Why should it come as a surprise- it's not as tough it wasn't expected.
The entire onus for developing the site for the CWG has been under successive Congress Govts, both UPA-1 & UPA-2.
Apart from their ineptitude and incompetence, everyone knows that venal Congress institutionalized corruption. All these unearthing of myriad scams, shady deals and rampant corruption is not news- its to be expected as the normal business-as-usual corruption by Cong.

They sure believe 'CWG' means 'Common Wealth Games' but they are simply too narrow minded & backward. When they deal with India they should open up little bit & look forward. They should change the definition 'CWG' should be 'Corrupt Ways Games'.

Poor Kongis trying to take lead internationally but those other nations are simply too dumb to understand Kongi games.

Read the statement ----"if any irregularities related to October 3-14 mega event were brought to his Ministry's notice, it would deal with it seriously and swiftly....".
So he is admitting that he would not initiate any broad investigation , nor would he put in place a process to reduce crruption, he will do someting if someone frm outside reports corruption.Jai ho
