Considering the number of nations and people that play tennis and badminton, World no 100 in tennis is equal to world no 1 in badminton. Not comparing any individuals just the games relative competitive size

Pathetic attempt to dismiss someone's achievement. Is Saina responsible for other countries not playing badminton. Being number one in the world in any sport IS A BIG DEAL. We celebrate India winning in cricket which is played by a handful of nations. Badminton is much more popular than cricket.
She has worked hard to reach where she is today without much support from the system. She deserves all the applause that she is getting now.

Agreed, it does not matter how many countries play Badminton and how much competition is involved in that sport, getting to No.1, No.2 or No.3 in the world itself is a tremendous achievement...be it in sport or be it in any walk of life.

Sam, you convert, considering the number of your people and the kind of mentality you have. You can be given the number 1 r_as_ca_l position.

Considering that India and China,Japan, Indonesia and half of Europe play badminton means more than 50% of the world plays badminton.
The number of countries where tennis is played may be more but the actual people who play is probably same - courtesy the great popularity of badminton in China compared to tennis.

Did you fly to moon in that rocket? Are you following Saina's foot steps in road side matches? Great yaar...great inspiration
Finally, if Saina decides to follow your advice, how does she do meditation; any youtube vedios?
Saina, your performance, has motivated young children towards playing badminton. This will further, take game badminton to newer heights. GOOD LUCK TO YOU IN FUTURE TOURNAMENTS.
