Oh man! Didn't you watch the game? Each time the Germans brought the ball near the box, the Argentinian defense just melted, disappeared! All the Germans had to do was to pass around and wait while the Argentina defenders panicked, got all over the place, hopelessly positioned...just imploded themselves! Argentina better be thankful that it was only 4 goals. Every time a move down the left flank came up, it seemed like a sure goal. And contrast that with German defense! The Argentinians never got a proper look at the goal!

the argentinian team were in there best ever until the germanys match.i think maradonna did a mistake by throwing up a predictable formation which the germans have already plotted to stiffle.he had no plan b.but still may be he should pester on.

We should not make any comment about Maradona or World football as we are from a country whose rank in the world soccer is probably 250th.

football in india is in sorry state because of various reasons(climate, cricket, poverty forcing youths to pursue careers promising jobs).as regards to availability of talent who knows the kid in ur neighbourhood is a christiano ronaldo

Aman,
Don't blame our mistakes on other. Climate in Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia is worst as they fall in sub Saharan region. Do you think African country has better infrastructure than India? No way..
Problem is our mindset. Parents in India don't see sports as a profession and that is the reason we are 133rd in FIFA ranking. It is not only about football, you can name anything other sport barring cricket, be it athletics... we expect our govt me to do something for us.. but most of the Footballeer is most of the south american countries are from slums.. so it the matter of just providing balls to these kids, and you can see the change.. a sea of change in Indian football.. 1.18 billion can surely produce 25 world class players.. For your info, Bhaichung is really a good player, it is his badluck that he is stuck with Indian football... But, there is big but.. We are improving, that is for sure...

Diego Maradona who is nearing 50 must be a disheartened soul. But Germany played marvellously in high spirit. Somehow I feel that Argentina wins more by luck then ability
