Maradona 2nd goal against England just after hand goal is goal of the century where he alone sprint from 60 meters and all the defenders were helpless to stop him.

and many other goals too were set up by him to win that world cup for Argentina. Isnt it? Cant Hari view those efforts, if he has not grown up, now Anurag?

what efforts..you need to grow up..every goal is result of good effort..i would rate linekar, stoichkov, cannigia, schillachi, babeto, romario, klinsmann, mathaews, voeller, milla etc etc..as very good team players...

i say every goal is team effort..value of goal remains the same..but when it is scored brilliantly or against better teams it becomes legend...

Spain will give Germany a run for their money. No pushovers, they will fight it out and emerge winners. They are along with Italy the best from Europe who play natural and pure football, the kind u would enjoy watching.

Spain had team effort against Switzerland, but scored nil goal Germans had team effort against Ghana, but scored nil goal. Apart from team effort, precision in finishing the chance set up by team mates is most important

agreed..similar goal was scored by baggio too..in fact several players have done that..but no denying that maradona is best amongst the lot..but his arrogance is too much and has led to his down fall.

hand of god was one big blunder maradona did..he should have come clean on the field itself...
Re: Re: Re: Re: 'chapter' over as coach

but lately calling mueller a "ball boy" and evicting him from press conference was too much..he is bigger star today than cristinao, messsi, rooney etc...

His greatness was in his superior skills on field without doubt and not off field

Hari, Not such a coward to do that. Need to accept the defeat gracefully, for every game there could be a looser. But losing game in such a big margin was actually hurting to be frank

A big loss for Argentina in such a crucial match against their nemesis which will be there in the minds of their fans until this was avenged.

Here I am. A bit late to hear all the rubbish comments from you. Now, my friend, start. Did you enjoyed German win?
Re: Re: @ABHIJIT
by hari on Jul 06, 2010 10:48 AM
you should have realized earlier that when even an octopus could see the result..why some of you guys were banking on so called skill and art of argentines:)
Re: Re: Re: @ABHIJIT
by Abhijit on Jul 06, 2010 10:47 AM
but i am happy as two most arrogant teams with false notion of skill and art have been swept away.
Re: Re: Re: Re: @ABHIJIT

of course..brazil and argentina hyped them selves..maradona was insulting everybody under the sun..they were comprehensively beaten:)

You can't say world number one team as hyped team, however I am not a fan of Brazil.

We too and still believe Argentines have the skill to excel far up than this result But surprise is what makes sports beautiful. A German loss to Serbia was same to Argentina's loss to German for me
