Everybody thinks Brazil played better but Dutch won. But it does not matter in a game where winner takes it all.You have only one chance in a knock out stage. I give full credit to Dutch because they were desparate to win and they struggled a lot to score than Brazil. Brazil looked to me like a team with talent but did not know how to finish. Kudos to Dutch...I wish Dutch lift the cup!!!

I agree with. Better team with motive to win won the game today. Dutch deserved the win than Brazil.

BRAZIL'S BIGGEST OBSTACLE IS QF.WHEN THEY SURPASS THIS STAGE IT'S VERY RARE FOR THEM NOT TO WIN THE CUP.
They depended too much on defense to take them to semis. They switched off their attacking instincts. Once they received a setback, they could not restart their attack, but Dutch kept on persisting till last moment and deserved victory.

Yes the 1994 QF was a thriller. No one could imagine that Dennis Bergkamp would singly fox the Brazil defence and put in 2 goals to level the score. But then Branco rose to the occasion to score the freekick goal. And that was the last and fatal mistake Holland made. Anyway, that Brazil team was much better than this one. Romario - Bebeto pair was far better than Fabiano - Kaka.
we can easily see teh different styles of the european and south american teams..the netherlands is more of organized and play to the 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 format..but brazilians looked like street fighters and every one were behind the ball where ever it goes..this should not be allowed..when all the ten start defending, it becomes tough for the opponents to score..and their play is rough..netherlands had to switch to brazilian style of play because the brazilians seem to chase the ned players..

It does not matter sir... Winner moves on and losers go home. So Brazil is loser today and they didn't play well at all.

there is no difference in quality in 8 teams it only matters with the 1st goal which either breaks or makes a team.every team that played with brazil could not match their arrogance so when a goal is scored against them they become wayward dutch could have scored 2 more goals during last 10 mts.now it has become easy for spain.
