What do you expect, I am a GOLD MEDALIST!

What an ideal combo, a gold meal and an Indian!

All it takes for us Indians to BOSS around is to attain a position of power however minor it may be (whether he/she is Gold Medalist, first rounder at the US open, or the slowest one in the first round of the Olympics heats).

We have the master/slave culture. Politicians do it all the time and set a great example. Bindra sets a great example of BOSSING over the piddly INRA because he is GOLDEN! Don't you dare touch him!

God forbid if INRA tries to follow the rules for this man!

Dont talk if you dont know.

He is training abroad on his own funding as the facilities in India are pathetic. He came to India in November since it was announced that trials would be in November. But NRAI suddenly postponed the trials to January. Bindra had planned some other tournament in January. Now who is at fault here?

Yes he is India's pride by showing everybody how money power speaks. It is disgusting to even recognise Bindra as a national hero considering that his tactics have allowed a lot of other talented shooters to fade into darkness since they are not given a chance to compete for their place in the National team. SO what if Bindra has won a gold medal in olympics. Is he above everybody else? If he is cuz of the medal that he has won......then all those athletes who have won medals on various platforms should be treated at par with him. Is anybody in this country ready to do that? Sorry everyone............pls wake up.

You said it well man.

This is mere politics:

"He has been asked to undergo trials and he even agreed to it. He came all the way from Germany for some trials on December 18 but to his dismay, the trials were postponed. He has requested that he be exempted from such trials not once but twice. He can't be harassed like this," A S Bindra said.

I guess Indian sport culture do not want pearls in its crown. Better settle in Germany! Atleast you will have peace of mind and they do things on time as you wanted. Sportsmen want clear focus and peace of mind. With this attitudes going in the academy I don't see any success anyways.
