Who does he think he is fooling , The faster they are sacked (Officials) and that money sicker (Kalmadi ) is kicked out of IOA it will be better for Indian Sports.
This was a golden opportunity for our crorepatti cricketers to sponsor a sum of one crore and get tax cuts in the bargain but then they do not think so large heartedly

What a sh**t MS Gill, the sports minister is? He says that Hockey players should play and after the WC he would try to resolve their problems. Can a sports minister be so insensitive??

this is the state of all sport in india.. which is why we win 1-2 medals in olypmics.. be it sport or air india.. anything govt handles.. this is the result.. cricket is saved cause bcci is run professionally.
Why is shree cement stepping up now and trying to help the hockey team .. not that its bad .. but by doing this all they care is free publicity... just like an ad campaign where money is paid for publicity.. instead why does shree cement not take up things like sponsor the team for one tournament or hold a shree cemet cup for the benefit of hockey and make them feel important .. rather than treating them as beggars and throwing money at them as qualms

Let him pay it publicity, I would appreciate him as a Great business man as well as a patriot. Great job HM Bangur. Vijay Mallya bought Gandhi's belongings for 1700 crores, you spend less and earn more respect and popularity, great business tactic & Great Patriotism.
In a country where Politicians use Government's money to build bridges and dams and say 'We did it, we did it", these businessmen deserve popularity as they use their own money. We owe a salute to them.

Its not Shree Cements prerogative to be charitable. They are a business organization. They are offering money and if I were them I would demand the players wear my companies logo. So whats wrong with that. How are they treating the players as beggars? Why should they be caring for these hockey players?
sack all FI officials. either control the money in cricket or do justice to other games as well. Specially Hockey being national game and world cup in India, Its national shame.Give players all the due or even more.

Why are you blaming Cricket. Given a Choice to watch a 20-20 between Aussie and SA(Not even India Playing) our folks will still watch Cricket than Hockey between India and Aussie. This is the age of glamuor and make believe and everything has to change with the times. Onus is on the players as well. Our sports minister cannot put an edict saying "dont watch cricket" watch only hockey. Because government doesnt meddle in Cricket Cricket is fine. Your logic is instead of helping a person who has fallen in the well is to push another person in the well and then equalize everything
