i will pay my 100days salary to anyone who will tell our shadow and inept prime minster and italian madam what is going on in this country as they are both living in another world? now comes our youth leader mr.rahul baba gandhi and what a shame...this is our youth leader being groomed to be the next king? and he dont utter a word for our youth? what a youth? he is worst than those oldies and the dumb a**holes we elect?

I seriously can't understand 100s of comments critisizing cricket and BCCI in relation to this matter. If a govt. body can't pay our national players, how come is it a fault of a private body who well pays its individuals?
Cricketers do ads... Big deal. Do you think Bekham after a day of Football goes into hiding. Or did Micheal Jordan or Shaq hide away from ads and media after every basketball game?
Instead of bashing up the Govt. system we like to bash who are an easy target. If the citizens of this country don't turn out to see a hockey game, how come it is a fault of Sachin Tendulkar or Dhoni? A private club tournament for hockey was started, but was shutdown because of low turnout. Was Yuvraj Singh standing on the ticket counter asking people not to spend their money?
Now that I have said what I wanted on the above topic, hope Indin Govt. wakes up and sees what out national game ahs come to. We can pay for a minister's wife's brother's father in law a life time airplane ticket, but we can't pay the people who sweat and lose their blood for the country. Its a shame. Wake up....
My support and sympathy to the hockey team and all other sport persons of india. if teh govt cannot give the national game its due respect,declare cricketas the national game. crores for the cricket team, and peanuts forothers. where is the justice in it.

When cricket has marginalised every other game and people are mad after it we must not forget other games. As cricket is not everything we should promote not only hockey but other games too. It is hauty gesture from govt side not to listen to our hockey players since corporate sector is not backing them hence they are being left at their disposal. It is astonishing that cricket player are registering themselves in highest tax depositors and on the otherhand our hockey players are fighting to get for which they deserve but living hand to mouth. Strange..... I am of the favour that Indian Hockey team must accept the shree cement offer if the concerned agency fails to cater for our hockey team demand.

The blame is on the people then right that they follow cricket so much that they ignore all other sports.? Why cant the Hockey admins try to glamourise the sport as cricket has done
