by Quazi on Sep 10, 2009 08:22 AM

Paraguay seals World Cup berth with 1-0 win over Argentina. After Wednesday's defeat, the two-time World Cup champions, temporarily in the fifth place with 22 points from six wins, four draws and six losses, was left in real danger of missing out on the finals for the first time since 1970. According to the qualification rules of the South American zone, the top four teams earn tickets for the World Cup finals, while the 5th placed team enters a home-and-away playoff with the 4th placed team from North, Central America and Caribbean.

Congrats Leo and mahesh
by Calspadeaspade on Sep 10, 2009 08:00 AM

I watched Leo and Dlouhy match. Leo was unbeleivable. He is so quick at the net. He is the best doubles player. He has what it takes to be a champion doubles player. It was smart of him to recognize his strength near the net and develop as a very successful doubles player.

Why? He is winning matches. He should play as long as he wants. It was a pleasure to watch him. He will know when to retire. He already has retired from singles.

Instead of appreciating Paes and Bhupati for recognizing their strength and weakness and developing their strength in doubls, you are critisising him. Have you ever played any game in your life? If you did you wil know what it takes to win. Paes is not tall enough for a super strong serve required for a singles champ even though he is exceptional at the net. so he made the wise choice and became successful.

People like you should not make any comments. The Bryans are white and not black. You just revealed your ignorance and stupidity.
