Pl.include cricket also as this game is opium of masses who waste their good time to watch this waste game.ie.,the game of selectors and not players.

I would say atleast for 12 years. Only that will teach a lesson to all corrupt officials and cheating players.
why international federation to take action. what is indian federation doing. Even the officials backing such thing and begg for lesser punishment should also be debarred from holding any sports office for life time with a huge fine.
Agassi told a white lie & got away with it! Florence Joyner Griffith won medals beating records by far & years later was found to be under drugs! And she died a premature death!
So why some get away? It is time doping test are given immediately after medal wins & guilty trashed right away!! Is modern science still primitive that the results take years? Pregnancy tests are done at home even & results known on the dot! Ah comeon, get serious!! It cannot be guilty booked at the whims & fancies of sports bodies!! Why years later another world record-holder found guilty? People will become cynical when someone ascends the podium from the blue!

Drug abuse will stop only when every winner and the top 5 participants are tested routinely, regardless of the race, color or creed. It should be an automatic feature. The same should be applied to any outstanding cricketer, soccer player, hockey player, etc.
After commercialising and "fixing" cricket matches, we've now advanced to steroiding our weight lifters. As an Indian, I would feel bad if we're out of the Commonwealth Games for weight lifting. But if it does happen, it would be a telling lesson to all our sportspersons not to head in the drug direction.
