I guess they more recognised all over the, then the Indian CRICKET TEAM.Only developing countries play cricket.I guess Sania has more stamina then Dhoni or Tendulkar. They play two one day internationals and have a Hamstring or a tennis elbow(OOPS now what that got to do with a cricket player).I dunno how anybody could get injured playin cricket. The Indian wining streak is a Magic of IPL,Money laundering.

due u know how many days did sania had been out with the reason of injury mr Rahul ?.... for ur information cricket is played for 5 days ( 8 hrs a day in test) n one full day(may be 10 hrs in ODI) n tennis is a matter of max 2-3 hrs ( some time even less )....
they need Stamina to hit hard but cricketers need more concentrating power to judge d ball, misjudging may even leads to dead.... understand Mr.Rahul ?....
Cricket is been played right through the year n tennis hav only 4 grandslams in a year ...
Now i think u got it rahul ?....
Hey dats a good guess, y don u guess dat indian winning streak is a magic of ramalinga raju's money ?....
Shame on ur part to talk like dis instead of encouraging dem...they r bringing a good name to their homeland , wat u hav done ?.... by d way u talk seems like there is no difference between u n Ramalinga raju ... both trying to give bad name to country ....

In cricket playing for 8 hours, you can stand in one corner waiting for ball to come. But not in tennis. It is known fact that tennis requires more stamina than the crap called as cricket. Cricket was invented just to kill time. It is not a players game but a losers game to play and watch.

That tennis players dont need "concentrating power" is a joke. Do you know at what pace the top players serve. You need to judge much faster and move your whole body to get to the ball and not just stand there and shake a thick stick.

Dear Harish and his supporter, Gaurav sharma is 100% correct. You guys who cant even sent an acceptable comment for an article in a discussion media like this, talking mean about a phenomenal achievement of reaching a Grand Slam final!!!!! (and may be they'll win also). Touch your heart, do u (any of the two)ever think you can reach anywhere close to their achievements in your entire life?

She does all that hugging and now will brag her story and do some more model shoots and advertisements...She already has a tennis institute in London...Looks like her father Imran wants her to mint as much as possible...Why is that her form takes a beating in the main events where Country reputation is at stake ? especially in Olympics and Davis cup tournaments...Just wait and watch our bacchi will become a model or a Cine actor in the days to come...Its difficult that she can break into that top 50 bracket again....

Sania needs a right partner in the Indian Tennis...She should be able to fuse and bond with him just the way a husband and wife do with each other...You will see her winning then...He should be a handsome hunk servicing her on and off the field then you will see her winning....Infact most of the tennis partners had good performances on the court because they had extended relationships beyond the Tennis court....

Think before you write
by Azima Kacchi on Jan 30, 2009 02:39 PM  | Hide replies

With the kind of popultation we have, we must have done much better in sports. Probably many may feel (to which I agree) that I might have yet not done anything great for my country and thus have no right to say so, but yes there are reasons as to why we fail in sports. Why are we not too good in sports. Lets forget the other reasons. The major one is our people whom we think to be our support, our critics in success and failures, our strength. But the attitude of the people and the thoughts of many on this forum hurt. If a sportman / woman does good we go all lenghts and breadths to hype them, and when he / she fails we do similar to bring them down. Critize them to the fullest possible as though we have got all the rights to do so. Its not wrong to critize but let it be in good spirits.
2) We do not respect our sports persons (specifically woman). No one ever thinks before commenting on them be it to any extent. I wonder if you could comment the same about your family members.
I know I would get many comments on this saying its democracy and you can say what ever you feel but think about it in the same way as though someone is commenting on you. Put yourself in their place and think. How would it feel. Its disappointing. It hurts. Therefore request to everyone is put discussions on the forum in such a way that something good can come out of it because remember whatever you write is being read by thousands. And your comments can hurt someone. Think before you write.

Dear Azima,

Dont get offended with such comments. Only celebreties attract this kind of attention. Nobody comments on either you and me. Sania is not going to cry if some dogs bark and chase her car. It is part and parcel of being very famous. My opinion Sania looks Damn gorgeous. Good luck to her.

you have not elaborated any reasons for our failure in sports. what reasons you have given can be overcome if we are successful on a consistent basis and their is more participation in sports. crticism like you have mentioned happens when their are limited sportspersons who are successful and hence people tend to expect more from them and when they fail they feel cheated similarly the same set of persons feel that he is on moon whenever the sportsperson fares well.

This is because, he does not mix up issues. Games and Gals are handled separately by him. he does not have any mixed feelings when he plays tennis. Unfortunately, it is not the case with Paes - who is in pieces.
