by Born Ceaser on Jan 31, 2009 01:03 AM  | Hide replies

I sincerely hope that evey tennis fan has had the pleasure of watching the Australian Open Mens 2nd Semifinal between Nadal and Verdasco. Oh ! It was 5 hours 14 mins of pure blissfull Tennis. and what a match. truly only for the sak of the touraent can one say that one guy won th match. Because the other never lost it. Hats off to boththe players for that scintilating (the word used is not appropriate as my truefeeings are only limitted by my lack of vocabulary) performance. Truely a mother of all tennis matches I have seen.

You mean to say "Secular forces" dont indulge in Mujras, Drinks, Party. Drugs, Extortion, Blackmailing, DESTROYING OF ECONOMY.
HELLO!! The biggest thing is they indulge in Media Management.

Why is it that Tehelka ONLY goes after BJP MLA & MPs??

How come Media was present in Full Force BEFORE the attack happened on Mangalore Pub.

These are all staged dramas so that people are distracted from REAL ISSUES like ECONOMY, Price Rise, TERROR ATTACKS, MP Horse-Trading etc..

This Govt has screwed up on ALL these fronts.
WHY did they lower oil & LPG prices just 80 days before ELECTIONS, when the international prices had fallen heavily 3 months ago???

Nadal - Verdaso Semi Final
by Anand YNI on Jan 30, 2009 09:38 PM  | Hide replies

Where is the report about the Nadal - Verdasco Semi Final that ended more than two hours ago? BTW, it was one of the greatest semi final matches of the open era in Tennis History. Kudos to Verdasco who unfortunately double faulted twice in the final set to lose the match. Watch his ascent in the coming months.

Aaap ke comments ke liye bahut shukriya.

Maine ne sirf ye likha hai ki ye semi final mahan semi finalom me ek hai. Aap ne Boris becker aur Omar Camporese

Rediff reporting so biased
by sri sri on Jan 30, 2009 08:47 PM  | Hide replies

the coverage for aussie open by rediff is very poor.. and since its predominently for Indian users, not much is written about other players..anyone who watched the Rafa-Verdosco match today will vouch for what I am saying..one of the ultimate, scintillating, reveting tennis matches ever..The near future world no-2 is already in the offing - Fernando Verdasco. He will soon replace Federed for this slot, while Nadal will rule the roost..Watch out..Fedex will once again go licking his wounds on sunday's finals against Nadal..Bravo Nadal..Gr8 going!!

Verdasco game is new for many. Once his game is known he will be toyed around. Many like Verdasco have come and gone. He also wont have consistency. Nadal beat him because he knows his country-man.

Ferdasco's style is very similar to Nadal-except for the high topspin that Nadal gets.Everyone knows about it and also the fact the Nadal's invincible unless he's unfit for some reason. What power, what stamina, what raquet control and ball placements! That one point which got a standing ovation of all at the stadium is something out of the world! If it was Federer facing Verdasco today, Fedex would have surely lost! But not Nadal..He's World No-1 not for no reason..

yeah, it was one of those matches that nearly gave me a heart attack. JUST SUPERB!!!!!!!!! not going to forget it for a long long time. verdosco was too good but in the end it was a matter of nerves and nadal won. sunday's final will hopefully be another scintillating match, go for it, Nadal. and yes, we are proud of you sania, bhupathi and bhambri.good luck to you too
