he is born in guwahati,assam..an indian by birth..but studies in usa currently//university of virginia
Cricketers don't want any other game to rise in india. Whenever any other sports starts taking prominence, cricketers,who feel no shame even to advertise WHISKY ads even, become insecure.
Crickters are so hungry for everything.
All the other sports require high level of discipline which cricket doesn't require.
Cricket is the only sport where you can drink everyday & still be a cricketer. What a shame !!!!!

Cricket is popular in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The test matches are time consuming and it is waste of time as lakhs of people in the country waste their time follwing the matches. The people should stop taking interest in the cricket. The sport is meant for the politicians, cricketers and sponsors who mint money.

My dears, do you guys know the bigger truth, that there is a big money making nexus between the BCCI-Television media- sponsors- and bollywood celebrities who have stake in the game. Keep up the spirit of supporting other sports. One day we will see results like this one. Give more encouragement to Somdev but do raise him to such a pedestral that he forgets his passion for the game.

Cricket is Popular because of Public. Why blame BCCI or media or abybody else? If nobody watches Cricket, the media will not even go close to that game..
By the way Somdev is from Verginia, US and very popular guy at U of VA. He can barely speak his mother tongue and can't even speak Hindi. He was mainly raised in US..

Dear friend, Did you see the match? Somdev has received tremendous support from Madras crowd. He himself has spoken about it. He has got the momentum and most likely to win tomorrow. God bless Somdev!
