IN FACT SHAHAR PEER LOST TO VERA DUSHEVINA OF RUSSIA IN STRAIGHT SETS 1-6 and 4-6.
Looks like all they are interested is the headline and write anything inside.

even i m not from North. I represent INDIA. MY LOVELY COUNTRY. just view like this, if someone hypes about region, just think that they have not grown up and still they are in stone age.
I firmly believe that Sania Mirza can win Wimbledon this year...reasons why i think so :
A) Willima sisters are now getting on in age.....Venus is more than 31 and is definitely slowing down...Serena is not a great grasscourt player!!
B) Ana Ivanovic, Jankovic are more effective on hard courts..
C) Sharapova has lost focus and venom in her game..
Now, on grass, if Sania can get past the first 2 rounds, she can pick momentum and confidence and if she has confidence, she is perfectly capable of beating the other players on tour...
I'am sure she will atleast make it to semifinals....with luck and determination, she can be Wimbledon champion this year.....i mean, she can easily destroy Chakvetadze, Safina, Petrova, Mauresmo and company...hopefully, she won't run into Serena in round 1 or round 2...

You have done a good analysis but Sania too is ageing and her perfromance on grass is not great either. Further, Serena is definitely is in good form

You seem to be completely insane to say that sania can easily destroy chakvetadze who is sania's nemesis. just check your facts and wta records before posting such nonsense
