federer is not a true sportsman.
he never accepts defeat gracefully.

he has to bite his own dust shortly

when fed had 3-4 pro experience can any one tell who is his gratest rival...he dont have any rivals during 2003-2006 reason nadal was still in developing stages and then he is only starting his career.Djoko...was also similar to nadal..very less experienced and Murray was not even a pro player then..but now when these guys have some exp under their belts they are showing who is best!!!Fed was really a lucky guy with no compitetion during his reign.. with henmen, gonzalez, safinetc..they are allabove avg players when sampras was plaplaying he got a rival Agassi and Sampras was the dominator most of the times... and other players during his reign were hewitt, safin (still in their prime then ) But for FED when the chips are down a true champion will emerge...FED is not the one.Nadal is real king he won on all surfaces barring US..may be he will do it when Nadal was in prime he got a great competition from Murray, Djoko..,etc...

I very happy now that FED has shown his true colors!!

People who wait for greats too fall show their true colors actually !

Getting agry at oneself is normal. Feeling good at others fall is seriously lame.

FED is the most elegant player on the court and the fact that hez having a low doesn't mean others are better. He lost the last match because he played real bad made a lot of unforced errors not that he was outplayed !

please check ur stat first.who won the first grand slam b/w fed, roddick & hewit.Fed was last among these to win.Other two were acknowledge by world to become the greatst because those two won when pete & aggasi were also playing. It is not fed fault that those can not won back any slam after that. Also it is not pete fault that he won 7 wim, not nadal fault that he is winning every slam & not laver that he won all 4 in one year. All these are great player but when a player start lossing to a player again & again , he losses his confidence little bit, that happen to fed & borg also. But borg left the field & fed so called losser by u won one slam after that & still playinf
this is sportmanship, that I ca win, even if u do not win, which is shown by fed, roddick, hewit but not by borg
waiting for ur replty

Federer has been a great champion, a true champion not only has a great game but is mentally tough. Now he is facing the biggest of his challenges. A true champion will find a way, for what federer is capable, i hope that he is able to overcome this challenge and come back to his winning ways.

Now Federer will never be able to be the same old guy who was phenomenal. His game has not changed but his mind and physical condition has changed. It always looks like he looses to Nadal just bcoz he feels that he can't beat Nadal mentally..If you watch all these matches the simple things these guys are doing against Federer is putting more balls back into the court and ultimately Federer looses his patience and makes unforced errors..I hope he comes back but his physical condition which is not getting better with age will not help him either..

It is time that Federer retired. A great Champion should be remembered as a Champion- now that he is losing to Nadal, Murray, Djokovic etc it is sad for millions of fans. Remember Pete Sampras when he retired was capable of entering semis but he still retired

Federer seems to losing his cool in difficult situation.
He is so much liked by many due to his composure, which is now not there.

Federer is not habitual to face this situation which shows how stronger he was in his prime. Truely best.

When things go fine, even the most hot-headed person can appear cool as a cumcumber. Show me the composure when u r threatened!! Federer was cruising all along and barring the challenge from Nadal (which was also restricted to Clay to a lot extent till 2006), there wasn't anyone in the remotest vicinity to trouble him. Who can lose one's composure during such comforting times???

But now tables have turned drastically. With more players coming in to hurl attacks at him on court (Nadal & Murray leading the pack), he seems to be lost like a kid on the carribean bay!!

This surely isn't expected from a champion... leave alone G.O.A.T!!!

He is not dead but gone are his best days for sure. He will continue to struggle from now on. But I will he will comeback to win at least 2 majors for the record. But Nadal will pass all records in a long time. Looks like.

Here's for all you you Fedex Fans!!!....In an interview,Toni Nadal(Rafa's Coach and uncle), had said that at 3 yrs a young Rafael went to him and asked him to teach tennis and the 1st thing that his uncle said was "if i ever see you smash the racket, thats the day i will stop being your coach....A lot of ppl cant even afford tennis rackets and we have to respect that"....till today rafa has neva smashed a racket or shown indecent behaviour....Today officially i say he is the only man on tour to do that....enuf said....He is the best sportsman today.....Vamos

well, this is all about timing...Fed has seen it all..so now he is seeing lows too. Same will happen to Rafa too. It happens to everyone. Dont be surprised to see Nadal lose his nerve and racket when he starts loosing his numero uno place...time will show this too...but some time to go dear...

He already has seen lows of his career...Remember how he struggled against Federer in his early years and held on to No 2 for so long?
Its all in the character and I am not saying anything against Federer, he has shown a great sporting spirit, but yesterday's match proved there are now chinks in the composure as are in his game. We are yet to see how Nadal responds when he loses his first place. I am sure he will show some frustration but I do not think he will go on to the extent of breaking a racket...

When Nadal lost yesterday to Martin Potro , he was gracious in defeat-- He said "I think I played really bad all the time . That's the truth of this match. It was amazing disaster" Incidenatally Potro lost to Nadal last month at IndianaWells. The Argentine is shaping up well. all this is good for tennis. On Federer, he is a BAD loser. he always complains whenever he loses. Tantrums and breaking racket are symbolic gestures of what is in mind. nadal had a tough grind in earlier years , being No.2 for long. it is now that he is on top.Top is a place , difficult to reach and more difficult to maintain. Federer should be gracious that he had all the accolades and money and fortune going with the NO.1 spot. Now others will have to get it as well. Pete sampras was gracious when he knew that he is slowly losing the top spot and the way he gave way need to be admired.
