I am amazed at the dublicacy of reports. If you were to read the report at Indiatimes.com and here there exactly the same ...word to word...

because they come from pti.. not from rediff.. copyright 2008 pti see in bottom

in the post match press conference kramnik said that he had not seen the ne3 sack when he played Nxd4. it was only durning the final move that he realized he was dead lost. he simply blundered under time pressure.

By his standards, Kramnik would have seen the knight move a mile ahead. Truth is Kramnik was already lost when the took the d square pawn with his knight. A piece down with no cmpensation is pretty much doom at these levels

The fact is that Kramnik saw the knight move just before it was about to be played. Anand had seen it almost 14 half moves ahead.It was obvious from the Live Broadcast.
