Fairness....
by Neer on Nov 03, 2008 08:25 PM  | Hide replies

Was it fair for Hamilton when Kimi gave his team mate Massa the 2nd spot ? If this was fair then what Glock did was also fair.

Dude Kovalainen did the same thing earlier in the season for Lewis. Even Lewis admits it. If you dont know this please watch more races.

Even Barichello did the same thing to Schumi. So there are no hard feelings. Hamilton won the Championship fair and square!

Force india loosing because of Ferrari
by karan on Nov 03, 2008 07:54 PM  | Hide replies

All you Ferrari fans, I think force india, our Vijay Mallya's team, is loosing because of Ferrari.

This is because Ferrari sold only engine and refused to give other parts such as transmission. In the last race what happened? Force india was third, but soon there were clutch problems and he dropped to 18th.

In addition, dont forget that it was Ferrari driver who rammed Force India car when it was coming 3rd in Monaco and only 3 laps were left.

When it comes to our country, we should not give a damn about Ferrari and all.

so go ahead and race and make our country proud.
Is Mallaya so pover that he can not buy things that he wants? And by the way Force India is THE MOST improved team this season in terms of lap times - Eg: They were just 1 Sec behind Massa's Q3 time in Interlogos Qualifying - Last year and before the team used to have 3 -4 seconds difference to the front runners.
As far as Ferrari driving ramming Force India - Its Sports Man, if you don't want to get hurt, sit at home, no one will ram you!

You sentences are contradicting yourself. What are you trying to say?

Regarding my comments, I would like to clarify that I am talking about the attitude of Ferrari team and its drivers. When Force India is ahead of them they don't respect the Force India car. In sports you also have to respect other drivers/players.
In Monaco Kimi saw Force India car in front and tried aggressively to overtake it. He will never do it if was Massa, Hamilton or Alonso. In addition there were many incidents between Massa and Sutil. You should have seen Massa cribbing unnecessarily.

Regarding my other comment on buying things, please dont say things if you are not aware of them. If you are then you are welcome.
Mallya has money, but Ferrari is refusing to sell some things. Thats why Mallya is looking for other suppliers.

Oh good to know that you have direct connection with mallaya to know that Ferrari refused. Or was it Montezemolo who told you this? On the driver error - it was an error that is all - Kimi NEVER tried to over take at that time - he lost control - he went zig zag and hit Sutil - if you had seen that you will not say that he did it wantedly. I am NOT contradicting - I'm saying that Force India is Good and just because Kimi had that accident with Sutil don't say that Ferrari is out to Demolish Force India - Common Man, does Ferrari have NO other work? And do you seriously believe that they are trying to ruin Force India? Read Vijay's statement 2 days before - he has clearly said Ferrari are his friends and he is just trying to see if McLaren will give him a better deal. How in the world you say that coz of Ferrari Engine they are losing - Do you know there is a team called Torro Rosso (Red Bull in Italian) and a driver called Sebastian vettal? They use Ferrari Engine. If you want Vijay to have access to all Ferrari parts then why to run Force India team? Ferrari can run its own second team just like Red Bull runs Torro Rosso!!!!

OK thanks for clarifying your stand. But, you cannot prove that Kimi never tried to overtake Sutil. I can also ask you that did Kimi tell you? Do you have direct connections with him?

Anyway, I am not saying that Ferrari is out to demolish Force India. When did I say that? I am saying that they are too arrogant to even give some default respect to Force India, that every team deserves.

How many times Kimi has rammed into other cars during the last laps?

In singapore, Massa caused Sutil's accident because Massa rejoined the track unsafely. Why was massa not punished by FIA in the following race? Did Massa even apologised to Sutil? Hamilton would have been punished for sure.

Whatever you may answer, in general I am saying that Ferrari is an arrogant team and does not respect Force India. It is clear from what they do on the track. It is a bad thing and I am not the one to blindly start worshipping some team just because it is from Italy.

People comment without even knowing things. Hamilton won 5 races( infact 6 where he was given an unfair penalty of 25 secs) and Mass won 6 races which infact are only 5 as he again was unfairly declared a winner by FIA when Hamilton who won it was demoted.

Dont belittle Hamilton's achievements
by Yogesh Gupta on Nov 03, 2008 07:06 PM  | Hide replies

Belittling Hamilton's winning the world championship and the fact that he lost last year by a sigle point being a rookie, shows author's immaturity and his bias towards Massa. Dont forget that Mclaren has also to be blamed for Hamiltons championship loss last year. TOther drivers have been complaing about Hamilton because they are jealous of his unprecedented and phenomenal success. The author needs to understand what Hamilton has managed to achieve and how talented and exceptionally fast driver he is rather than questioning his attitude. Massa may be fast but he is also very erratic. Massa benefitted from Hamilton's penalties and he is still not regarded in the same league as Hamilton or Alonso. The author said that Massa drove excellently in the wet, but the fact remains that the race was not wet even for one fifth of the race length. If he cant win the championship after more than seven years of experience, driving a red car, I dont see him ever winning the championship at all. Hamilton will go on to win multiple championships. He is the new king of Formula 1. Long live the new king.

The author also needs not to forget the fact that Hamilton was fighting two opponents all the year, Massa and FIA. Most of the ex F1 drivers have this opinion that Hamilton and Mclaren were unfairly treat on more than one occasion.

Dear author , why have u also forgeten the fact that Hamilton is the same driver who had beaten his world champion team mate in his rookie season fair and square and Massa has been beaten by so many of his not so highly rated team mates through out his career and he was also one of the major causes of Schumacher's championship loss in 2006, because he could even not do the same job Barrichello had been doing previously. Barrichello used to keep Schey's rivals at bay by finishing right behind the great man, but Massa could not even manage that. When Schuey was ahead of Alonso, Massa used to finish behind Alonso and that did not help Schumacher, they way Barrichello used to do during his stint at Ferrari.

How much you got paid from Ferrari ? You tried in the initial part of the so called 'article' [I wont call it an article, as someone put it down, it looks like a Ferrari bulletin] you tried a bit to be realistic. But just the thought that Lewis is the champion made you threw away all the caution and penned it down as biased as someone could be. I dont need to give you examples of how the FIA tried its best to stop Lewis / Mclaren all through the year. I dont know whether you had really watched all the races completely, or just the shots send to you by Ferrari highlighting Lewis' errors and Ferrari's great moves ? Had it not been such a biased authority of the sport Lewis would have wrapped it up 3 races back. You come across as the same ldiot as you show up in the race chats on rediff. You dont have anything to say about how the man you stated as 'god' won atleast two championships ? And so called Alonso couldnt chase down a rookie in the same package last season ? I can debate over and over on this, but not with a fool like you. For the records - I'm not a huge Hamilton follower, but no one can deny the life he has brought into F1 in these two years, You like it or not - it doesnt matter - period!

cant help it mate, they cant digest the fact that the so called 'kid' has taken it away from them. now they have started claiming that it is with the spied Ferrari technology that Mclaren was able to out do them in the last 2 years. What an INSULT to Ferrari, as it means they couldnt get a competitive car with their own technology...and Mclaren was able to use it and better their car ? Ha ha ha..we can just laugh it out.
