I am really happy to know how boldly Bhupati has dared to stood up against Paes.
Since gaining tooooooo much success.......pace went out of his skin... and considered all other tennis players as insects before him...but the reality is the reverse...
Paes is KPS Gil of tennis......
SACK him if we want to keep tennis living in India.
Those who have watched tennis closelt know that the root of the problem is Paes and not Bhupathi as Paes wants things his wat and puts pressure thru AITA and does not directly communicate with Bhupathi.
May be some of our friends are right Leander might have ego problem. But what Leander Paes done for the country is remarkable. What we have seen from Leander that, when country's prestige is at stake he pumps up and even beating top 10 players. Look at his Bronze medal winning performance at Atlanta Olympics or Davis Cup Semi-Final Victory over France in Red Clay court at Paris are victory of Goran Ivanisek in a Davis Cup match. All these victories are came only when he plays Davis Cup matches. He never took serious interest on his professional carries. This shows his Desh Bhakti. But in Bhupathi's case he came to India from US because there are far better players in US than Bhupathi. And he is influential in players revolt against Leander and Bhupathi is responsible for Sania Mirza's withdrawal from Sunfeast Open in Banglore.
So overall Bhupathi had done more harm to country than so called Egoist Paes. It is better that Bhupathi should be sent back to US where he actually belongs, we dont want him in India.
the relation between these two guys has hit all time low!! at this point of time there is no point pairing these guys since first round exit is guaranteed!!!! it is better for hesh or lee to pair with somebody else in the best interest of the game!!!

since each of these believes that he is better than the other and pairing them or pairing each with someone else is sure to see our exit without a medal, maybe we should send a totally fresh team without either of these. at least it will send a message that neither of them is indispensable and we are better off without these jacks......

paes has past his prime and can no longer be a medal prospect in singles,now after having a tiff with hesh medal in doubles has also gone to thin air!!! poor mentality from lee!!

paes should have respected his partner right from the beginning which he did not!!! it is all because of his EGOISM that our tennis has not progressed ITF should ban him first!!
It appears Bhupathi thinks too much of himself. He lately has become a pain in Indian tennis creating unnecessary bad blood among the players. He should not have opted not to play with Paes as it is not his choice who should represent India and with whom. If he does not want to play for India sack him from tennis professional group and also remove his recognition as tennis player. We don't want traitors in the national team.

Yes, I do admit your statement. This is what going on in India. Bhupathi should think it again for greater interest of the nation than those of his personal choice.
Does Bhupathi represent for olympics for India or his personal interest. If he representrs for India he shouln't refuse that I won't play with particular player. If he don't want to play, better take retirement, or the indian tennis or the Indian olympic committee should ban Bhupathi permanently. We don't such selfish players.

Have u read the article and are commenting...........he rightly said they are not magicians and a medal will not happen just because they step on court.... they need to have match practice and betetr understanding of each other atleast the rhythm.......... n if not better somebody Who has it... And most rightly the top player in the country has every right to chose a partner for himself. What could b done is have both of theirs team face off each other and who ever wins let that team represent India.... thats wht happens in every other game n I cant see anything wrong in it...

MANY OF US AGREE WITH YOU.Bhupathi should be banned.He is bringing so much disharmony into Tennis, which is doing pretty well.He does not have the sportsman spirit and bringing disrepute to the game,corrupting other players mind also in the bargain.CANT HE JUST KEEP ASIDE HIS PERSONAL INDIFFERENCES.

Well - Mahesh has a point though. If Lee does not respond to his communications, how can they pair and strategize for the big event? Arent the chances of India winning a medal better with a team that has more synergy between them?

yeah absolutely right he protested for the same reason (not pairing with sania in mxd dbls). teetotaller thats why nobody in tennis world doesn't like bhupathy.
