if refereeing was fair arsenal w'd hav been champions on 93 points
by Ram Mohan on May 15, 2008 08:31 PM  | Hide replies

thats 10 points more than current arsenal total. i'll break it down up to 6 points. first one was the loss to boro were both their goals were offside, the return leg we drew them, but an ade goal unfairly ruled out. so from 2 matches its 5 points. the draw against Birmingham where eddie leg was ripped into shreds by the nicest guy ever taylor, their 2nd goal was a wrongly given penalty a so called foul by clichy where he cleanly got the ball. that again should have been a victory, and the 2nd drog goal was a clean offside a game we lost. that should have been a draw, now thats 2 1, equals to 3 and plus the previous 5 equalling 8.

lol.. i was just reading to what kris wrote. a small correction. if all decisions w'd have been fair, then arsenal w'd hav won the league with somewhere around 13 points difference...................................

and as mithun said, the games a great leveller.
manu is a club whichs over 800 million gbp's in debt and every year they hav to pay close to 80 million gbp's as interest alone and for the last 3 years they hav just managed to pay half of the interest alone. manu has not even paid half of the money for transfers last season. sense a leeds somewhere

Ram Check on what you said in the second para once more.
You got it completely wrong.
In a fact right now arsenal are in a deeper trouble than manu.
And that too is not with regard to the total amount, but the amount to be paid per year.

@thomas
arsenal in deeper trouble than manu. dude thats a joke. arsenals debt supposedly is around 350 million with 5% interest and for a period of 15 years. so per year emi w'd not exceed anyways more than 35 million, whichs perfectly managable and plus the arrival of money from the highbury sqaure flats whichs around 250 million. arsenal are financially very very sound and very well planned. its a not a short sighted, but a long sighted planning.

and as for manu their interests for their above 800 million gbp debt is fixed on hedge funds and moreover its for a shorter period of time and for a quite some time they have been trying to refinance it for a longer period, but none seems to be interested due to the size of the debt.

so mr. thomas if u 're just a glory hunter, try findin a new team to support soon or else is ur a true genuine fan, BE REALLY REALLY WORRRIED!!!

the research details were compiled from many football crazy uk blogs. so credit due where its due. you guys can be rest assured about its credibility.

most of the negative publicity of the arsenal debts is raised by the anti arsenal british media. for them arsenal are a french african club in this era of globalization. so they write all good things abt other clubs where as arsenal year in year out are in a crisis. funny isnt it?

manu has more than 800 million debts coz of the money glazers hav lend from some bank. if manu were still a PLC it w'd hav been doin fine.
thats the long sightedness with the arsenal board.

so the latest rumor about ronaldo leaving has a heavy chance coz real would offer manu something like 100 million pounds, which's rubbish for him, but manu will sell him, with their current debt state. if so die hard fans should realize that its only coz of the debt and not for some ridiculous reason fergie gives.

guys discussions have to be between genuine fans who carry their heart up the sleeve and are rational, a perfect example of a person not like that is mr. shiv below. his thread text seems utter chaos.

ive been an arsenal fan ever since DB10 joined them, but the first season i followed them prudently was 1998-99.

quite soon im gonna start blogging abt football. need all ya support guys. gudnite :)

I think If take out Naveen & Mithun out of this world it would be great.
Mithun I think You are useless. You should know Bransley beat Chelsea (1-0)
A.Grant,Drogba only knows how to Cheat & get Penalty.Chelsea just Cry for Penalty. If take out Drogba,Terry & Lampard out of Chelsea they can`t beat any School team.
Christiano Ronaldo Single handadely Beat Chelsea Any Where,Any Time,Any Place.
Go Man United Take Punch On There Face At Moscow.

hi mr. muley,

ronaldo will not be able to beat chelsea single handedly.

reading ur comments i seriously wonder uve the capacity to judge a game technically.
ronaldo always bottles it when he comes against world class full backs.
his was always the 2nd best to ashley cole, sagna, clichy, kalazade, etc.

chelsea will hav cole as LB and essien as RB. so ronaldo for sure is goin to hav a very tough time,

and chelsea are very much on form and if drogba or ballack either one of them is one feild chelsea should win it.

and im no chelsea fan and it w'd be one of the worst sights for me with cashley cole liftin the tropht, but still i beleive chelsea will win it. and in a way its fair coz manu won the league unfairly

we can see United given away only one penalty and they got 8 penalty's. This tells the story.
