I think Sania has achieved what no Indian woman in this space has. Hence, most corporates consider her a brand.
However, I think this achievement has been unnecessarily dented by vested interests and Sania herself in certain instances, through her immature handling and blatant arrogance. Being aggressive in sport is fine but, sometimes I feel Sania's attitude has been bordering on arrogance than aggressiveness. So little more humility and sauveness in handling media and public interactions could do her well or else streak of failures will soon erode her brand image.

I don't know whether u have seen her play live on TV. But wherever she is plays her introduction start with represent a billion people country of India so much on her shoulder so much pressure sometimes i wonder that even she might be thinking why cann't these people leave her country and instead tell about her recent form which they usually use to decribe other player. In west she is know as a tennis player who is representing a billion people and is muslim. Everytime is speak people remind her she belongs............. probably everyone gets irritated with similar question including th eaudience.

do you even know how to spell Tennis? learn to appreciate how single handedly Sania has reached where she is today without AILTA's or government support. Learn to appreciate her single-minded dedication, hardwork and sincerity of purpose. She,along with the Amritrajs, Paes and Bhupathi has put India on the world tennis map.

Nimish- We're not talking of each other's ability, we're talking India's foremost tennis player, after all the hype, media coverage, adulation and moolah that she gets (prizes & gifts showered upon her using us, tax-payers' monies)she better perfom.

Well Suraj..at least she has kept India's flag visible in a truly international sport. No Indian Men/women have won a individual grand Slam title in tennis ever.

Well agreed what you say.. But for how long she will keep on getting ousted out from 3rd or 4th round. Upon continuous practice and the desire to reach higher goals will definitely make any person achieve their target. But this is not seen in Sania's case. WHY WHY WHY ? Simply that she is satisfied with whatever she has achieved till now. But she just wants to stay in the limelight creating small controversies. There are many instances of rookies coming and going ahead of Sania.

One of the reason is that inspite of all the media attention sponsors she still doesn't and cannot effort to have a full time coach which can help her fine tune her skills and rectify the defects. ITs sad that a billion people representative taking so much of flake from her own country still is not able to hire coach
Sania, you have reached your threshold point beyond which you cannot go. Your limit is only upto 3rd or 4th round. Everybody knows this. Any way, congrats and all the best.

People who can't accept the actual visible facts and talk like their mind is in delusion of maya or illusory impressions superimposed upon their mind The reason is because of lust towards woman. In tapori language it is called chamchagiris.

your threshold is upto writing critical remarks about people who have achieved their position with sheer grit and willpower.
RE:Enough Sania

Grit and willpower ?? And that for Sania ? Nonsense. If she really had the grit and will power she would have earned atleast one grandslam title by now. This is not the 10th or 11th time that she got ousted. It must be around 30th time that she couldn't reach a final in all these years. How long are we going to see her getting ousted from 3rd or 4th round ? There should be some improvement if a person has real grit and willpower. She has the grit and willpower to stay in limelight by creating controversies, but not on game.

okay pay her so that like other tennis player she to can travel with her coach, physio, trainer, and ... probably she will get the four slam for you. But first pay up
