criket is the commonwealth game,playing 10 natiion and foot ball is the game playing world wide.criket known as stupids game and football knows as best game.

kareem , well said. indian cricketers are actually the weakest of all the cricket playing countries leaving the underdogs. money and fame are the prime concerns. bearing few good bowlers do we have any bowlers who actually bowl to clean bowl the batsman. all need the support of other players. Indian football is in infancy but the willl power of the people is tremendous since in country like india with a billion stupids unknowingly liking cricket, our footballers have braved to stick to the worlds best game( it needs courage,bravery, guts and sportsman ship to play soccer, cant compare the gullibles who play cricket 10 nation world cup)
It was a total one sided affair during the Spain vs Russia semifinal tie. I would have loved the if the Russians would have won as they are the youngest team in the Euro wz an excellent coach in Gus Hiddink who guided the South Koreans to the semis of the World Cup in 2002.
Had the Russians won they would have met Germany and this would have had the fans on the edge of their seats right from today. It would have been a case of the third world war. Germany would have hoped to be the champions of Europe destroying the Russians in the final.
WITH RUSSIA'S DEFEAT THE WORLD HAS MISSED A GREAT BATTLE. GERMANY v/s RUSSIA.
GERMANS ARE FAVOURITE TO WIN THE TITLE AND I M SURE THEY WILL DO IT.

If you recollect, Germany had beaten Russia 3-0 in Euro 1996. So we have avenged Stalingrad. But this would have been the best way. Sieg Heil Deutschland.

Every time you want to comment on Football (not soccer, because soccer is American slang)do you have to criticize Cricket? Cricket too is a good game and is better than baseball (the American national game) Cricket players are also good sporsmen. They deserve all encouragement.
