Yes, you are right. After puting a good performance in the first half, Russians faded away in the second half. Spain performed like a well oiled machine and found target 3 times. The first goal was a beauty. In the process they also served notice to the great Germans not to take things lightly. Germans will have to toil hard for a victory.
Why only few messages about football. If it was about cricket then messages wud have been thousands.. (like.. dhoni went to toilet, Yuvi pizzed with deepika, sachin's loose motions etc.)
North Indians only knows cricket and Bollywood nothing else...

foot ball and hockey there is no keralite in the team, only volley ball youpeople littlebit and basket ball, so hockey andfootball we east indians are good enough, dont worry down theline 10 years youcan see a lot of change

Indian populatin is 12 billion.Indian FIFA ranking is 160(came 5 step down this year). IVORY coast an african country population less than 50 lakhs and they are within 30 in FIFA ranking.Also one of their playe r is one of the best forward in the world(Drogba). Ghana,Nigeria,Cameroon,Togo,senegal al fall in this category. Soaudi population is only in lakhs and they have even beaten Holland in World cup.

But Mr. Jayesh you cannot compare India with above countries. All the african countries Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon and Togo also produced athletics of olympic standard whereas till today we could not even a bronze medal. These africans are well built and tall (its all in the genes) Saudi Arabia spends a lot of money for sports (esp for football) and there too the majority of players are black (africans migrated long time back) So there is no comparison between these nations.

So you mean to say its only adantage of having Black people?What about other poor asian countries like Syria,Jordan,yemen,Egypt etc?They dont have much black people in their team and dont spend that much money for sports like Saudi.Their standard of game is Much much higher than India.Coming to white people..Conside countrie like Belgium,Romania,Croatia,Slovania etc..they are not much developed like india and dont have negroes in their team..So it snot all about spending money and advantage of black people.There is some hting else we need to consider.

Why do you have to bring regionalism everywhere? And how much do you know about football, hockey etc.? Do not simply pass judgement on others. It shows you have a big ego.
Great day for Spnaish soccer .... its surprising for a country which is so much devided politically to play such an amazing and united football.... its thrilling to see the Spaniards & Catalans (Barcelona) playing a terrific team game leaving asde all their differences ..... This Spain team reminds me of Brasil team of mid Eighties ...with the likes of Romario, Bebeto

you got it spot on...Fabregas ruled yesterday. Iniesta also played well very well yesterday.
Spain hopefully should clinch it now but with Germany in big matches it is always tough. The final will be closely contested affair... I dont think there will be so many goals but that does not mean it will be a bad match by any means.... And dude dont worry - you wont regret missing the Linkin Park concert especially if Spain and Fabregas turn up the heat like yesterday... After the match you will surely be singin "In the end...."
This match looked fixed. The way Russia played against Netherlands was totally different from the way they play against spain. They looked like bozos giving some sample shots on the spanish goal side, and allowed spain dangerous attacks all throughout the game.
And Arshavin, the lesser spoken about him, the better.

Mr.Ram seemed to have surely betted heavy on Russia it seems!!!! Dude the fact is Spaniards learnt from the mistakes of the Dutch and did not let any supply to Arshavin & Pavluchenko. Just goes to show that if the Dutch had qualified it would have been a wonderful match instead of the one-sided affair yesterday....
This is usually what happens when minnows play a big match. Turkey were exceptionally good against germany in that respect...

Turkey was the surprise pack in this Euro2008. They almost qualified for the finals, but for the absence of some of their star players.

Turkey was a good package guys...But yes in every cup some team just pops up from nowhere. It has always been the case with Koreans, Turkey, Greece and again in this cup Russia. But such teams brings in more excitement!!!
