Nadal is Prof from past 5 years and Fed from past 10 yrs. Nadal Won 4 Grandslam and Fed 12. Fed won first grand slam at 5th year of his entry while Nadal in his 2nd yr. Nadal can win on Grass whereas Fed it will be impossible for him to win in Clay until Nadal is there.

nadal king of clay
by biswanath roy on Jun 09, 2008 11:14 AM  | Hide replies

by winning the french open for the 4th successive time & other titles on clay courts nadal has proved that he is the king of clay. however the same nadal looks pathetic when he plays on fast hard courts as was evident in the australian open 2008 & us open 2007,when big servers like tsonga & djokovic beat him easily in straight sets. i am quite sure that nadal will fail to reach even the semi finals of wimbledon, as his game is akin to the slow clay courts that is why till date he has yet to win any other grand slam title besides french open, whereas the younger djokovic has already won the 2008 aussie open. nadal is maintaining the tradition of earlier spanish tennis stars who had a monopoly over the french open like santana, gimeno, orantes, moya, etc, none of whom except santana ever won any other grand slam title.

fedrer's confidence !!
by Hari on Jun 09, 2008 10:42 AM

fedrer is going to be seriously affected by this loss.
it was demorlising. He was never beaten 6-0 in recent years.
this is going to affact his performance in wimbledon also.
I think fed express is running out of steam. All good things come to an end.

Federer will treasure his only clay court win over Nadal that is the Hamburg Open final 2007 more than his other Grand Slam titles...

One sided match.
by Basker Mathrubootham on Jun 09, 2008 07:35 AM

All along the match, Nadal seemed to have full control. More than anything else, it was just psychological. He just looked federer in the eye and he blinked. Federer has all of his Roland Garros defeats since 2005 against Nadal (2005 Semi Final onwards). A 79-2 margin of victory on clay is unbelievable. He lost one of those two matches against Federer in the 2007 claycourt season.
