He is undoubtedly one of the all time greats. We admire for his humility. We enjoy his game of tennis which is full of grace and silken touch. The angles he creates with his ground strokes and his ability to retrieve the ball is unmatchable in modern day tennis. This is one grand slam tournament in which his form has been indifferent. However this semifinal exit will not take away any thing from this great player this only shows that he is also a human being and not a machine.

Gracious? Federer? He is always a pompous guy talking of himself only. Check out his interviews and you will realise that he is completely self centred.

Roger Federer is universally acknowledged to be a perfect gentleman both off and on the tennis court. He is indeed a terific sportsperson (with a charming, pleasant, intelligent personality) as well as a great human being who is also the brand ambassador for UNICEF. He has also donated proceeds to a South African charity that works in the black townships. Finally, in an interview virtually any player will naturally be asked about his or her performance in the match and relatively less about that of his / her opponent, etc. So, all in all your comment about Federer being "self-centred" appears to be rather churlish and smacks of utter ignorance and petty-mindedness on your part ! The opinions of a few idiots like you will not in any manner affect the very positive image of the champion in the hearts and minds of the general public.
I was pretty confident about Djokovik's victory. FedX is undoubtedly greatest, but its good to see new challenges coming throgh. I am exited to see Tsonga and Djokovik final. I love to see Tsonga wins d final.

Tipsarevic. One of the player had to be lucky on that day. And Federer won. 4.5 hours of play. It remembered me of the Lendly v Mats Wilander play of the late 80s at Wimbledon
There is no doubt that Fed is one of the best players Tennis has ever produced but like all great players, he cannot continue winning for ever. We might not see him winning 3 Grand Slams a year but he still has what it takes to win a Slam. Come Wimbledon, he is still the Favorite.
