This I found somewhere...Unbelievable. What a champion!!
The food that fueled Bolt's record run left much to be desired. He skipped breakfast and snacked on fried chicken meat.
"I woke up at 11, sat around and watched some TV," Bolt said. "I ate some lunch, had some (chicken) nuggets, went back to my room, slept again, went back, got some more nuggets and went to the track."

yeah well, thats just the day on the track, before the event to relax him, no one will talk about how much he had to grate his ass to get to that position to relax before the race!

I agree - it is daily pounding the sand beaches of Jamaica, running for hours each day for many years to strengthen the legs....
what about india's status of getting medal in race 100, 200, 400. well if we indian will ever get to see any medal in race. is in such a large populated country no one is there even to get near to wining olympic race ? hey if any one could tell me in our developing nation we haven't made development enough to produce even a single player who could reach up to that level ?

Well i guess "you" too are part of that "such a populated country" and maybe we can even start winning one when you and everyone does something bout it than just preach...by the way our boxers are doing pretty well as compared to last time....so now take some pride in "their" effort than just blast the 100m team.

Maan:
I don't understand what has population got to do with winning medals?
Dude, winning Olympics medals (or medals in any event) is all about QUALITY. You can't produce QUALITY just because you have QUANTITY.
Bolt would have won even if he was the ONLY living citizen of his country. Got it? And by the way Jamaica is not terribly known for its development. Neither is Toga, or Cuba or Mongolia, or Ajerbaijan, or Algeria or Slovenia etc..

He is so pessimistic because the national record of 100m race men is 10:33 sec

10.33 - hmm, not all that bad - translates to about 6-7 metres behind the world record. improving a couple of metres will do!

Read this Flamingo .... Akhil stresses need for SA trainer
NEW DELHI: Akhil Kumar has cried hoarse that he and the rest of the Indian boxers would need the services of physical trainer Heath Mathew, but the South African does not find a place in the list of 42 officials cleared by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA).
Returning from a wrist surgery, Akhil has been indebted to Heath Mathew for the recovery and rehabilitation. The boxer had resumed full-fledged training only in recent weeks after the wrist pain had returned to haunt him.

These bloody politicians and Indian Olympic officials are the first to screw our medal chances by not providing the services required for our few Olympic sport personals. By contrast China and USA are providing best medical services, best coaches and best training equipment which is being reflected as the number of medals. The only Gold medal India won has nothing to do with Indian sports authority of our Olympics committee. It’s a known fact that Abhinav Bhindra along with his father made all training arrangements with their own money.
