WINNING IN OLYMPC IS THE FOREMOST WHICH WE AND OUR PLAYERS NEED TO UNDERSTAND. JUST BY WINNING SOME MEDALS HERE AND THERE AND HESE PLAYERS BECOMES UNFOCUSSED ON GAME AND FOCUSSED ONLY ON MEDIA PUBLICITY AND MONEY.
Till date, Anjali Bhagwat has won 28 Gold, 22 Silver, 6 Bronze establishing new records 13 times in International competitions. The Mumbai-born shooter also won 54 Gold, 35 Silver and 14 Bronze with 8 times new records in National competitions. She is still the record holder in 10mtr Air Rifle and Sports Rifle 3position in Common Wealth games.

RECORDS TELLS DIFFERENT STORY. WHAT WE ARE ASKING WHY SHE FAILED DESPITE HER REPUTATION? WE SHOULD NURTURE GOOD TALENTS AFTER ATHENS WHICH WE DIDN'T. THIS IS THE REASON WHY WE SEND RATHORE , ANJALI ETC AND FAILED OURSELF. THIS IS THE CASE OF OTHER SPORT PERSONS NOW IN BEIJING. WE SHOULD NURTURE GOOD TALENTS. REMEMBER ONLY A PERSONILITY LIKE PHELPS CAN REPEAT THE RECORDS GAMES AFTER GAMES AND OLYMPICS AFTER OLYMPICS. NOT RATHORE,ANJALI,PAES, BHUPATHI,ANJU ETC.MAY BE THES GUYS GOOD AT ASIAN LEVEL

r u related to her.? people remember only olympics performance not even world cups/championships, forget about low profile competition asian agames and common wealth. as regards sania,her on court future is dark but off the court future very bright.
when she was out of 10m rifle. She was asked what abt her chances in 50 M, she said it depends on wind and other factors etc. this is sheer pessimism. one should have confidence to win against odds then only they can win.
Anjali almost fought, cried and even blamed the Govt and belittled other sportsmen to get the Khel Ratna. Only if she showed equal passion in her shooting, perhaps India would have had another medal till now. She is being bitten by the Glamour Bug. What we Indians are eager at is to see who gets to hold the national flag during opening ceremony and who gets to visit China.........A single gold from a billion people and a single individual Phelp won five golds. Long Live India..........

full agree. i remember those 3-4 columns interview ...cribbing about govt. ,POLICIES. She has lost her glory.

Yes Nagesh Please Love and Support her. Perhaps thats what she needs to make another trip to the next olympics.........

PT usha herself lost in LA. she is venting out frustation now specially on anju.
Anjali must hav speant more time in front of the mirror doing up her face and hair rather than practise. Sad that she gets selected for such poor show. Could be her looks is getting her selected. In case of such por shows, they should be made to foot the bills for all the expences incurred. Why should we tax payers bear the cost of such shoddy performance. The same goes for Sania....
