Congrats - You son of the soil!! You have made us all proud...three cheers for Abhinav Bindra.
When our national anthem was being played and our flag was been hoisted above the others, I felt the goosebumps and I looked at Abhinav's face on TV....oh what a proud moment!I hope the nation changes its single sport monopoly and changes its outlook towards other sports. The sportsmen are out there amongst our population of a billion. They just need to be discovered, sponsered, trained, awarded..so that people take other sports seriously enough to choose it as a career. We need the government support, the peoples support. We can do it guys. If China, with 1.3 bln population can bag enourmous medals, can we with 1.1 bln people not do it too? Well, Bindra proved that we can....congrats Bindra, congrats India.
You are truly One in a Billion! Congratulations on this great and unforgettable achievable. Shows there is potential for Indian athletes to shine in sports other than the ones popular in India.
Congrats Abinav. You made the proud. I saw the final and it was thrilling, as thrilling as the last over as the T20 WC. I will never forget that podium finish and national anthem played and india flag hoisted above all nations.
You make every patriotic Indian to be proud of your achievement. We can hold our head high in sports arena. I am sure with the same level of training imparted in western countries and without any political interference we can also do wonders in international competitions.
