I did not wanted to bring the religion issue at this proud moment.
But let me remind all the people who say so much bad things about Sikh,1984,sikh community etc now and then on rediff message boards that BINDRA is a sikh as well..where has their hatred gone now????Everyone is proud today because he is an indian first and then a sikh.
So next time, before you say anything against any community on these message boards, please remember that you are an INDIAN first and then a hindu,muslim,sikh,christian or anything else.

@moderator: please don't remove Mr. Mick's message as i do not know why this message is reported abused! he is so right in his point! Yes Mr. Mick, i completely agree with u , we shud be first indian AND FOR THIS i have no complain with sikh BUT i have genunine complain for the lack of this attitude in muslim as i am finding for this victory they r not happy , i have seen in masses they r not expressing their feeling! why?

Central and State governments are announcing rewards worth lakhs and crores now. If they could have announced this big sums for building better sports infrastructures(Stadiums and other sports facilities) for the Indian sports men then we could have won this GOLD fifty years before or atleast 20 years before. But still atleast now, better identify the true sports men/women from the nooks and corners of the country and train/encourage them for the next olympics.
Stop recruiting/identifying sports men/women through recommendations and political corrupted channels. Find the true sports men/women.

abs corect. gr8 achievement by abhinav. shabash. शाबाश. i recollect there was one incident when a shooter (may b that was abhinav bindra only) wanted to buy a foreign pistol for his shooting practice, but he got all the hurdles and what not. it shud b avoided.
