Strong action should be taken against the officials who were responsible for bringing such serious allegations against Monika devi, which has been now been found to be baseless.This has brought disrepute to our country.Such corrupt officials should be publicly whipped.

Why only officials?Do you think Suresh Kalmadi is innocent?Whole organization looks towards its top bosses!Kalmadi is IOC cheif for long long time now.What contribution he has made towards sports in india?Whatever he claims is sufficient?A country of more than Billion human beings are not able to choose any one sports where we can excel in the world and bring Gold? Certainly sportspersons are not to be blamed but officials and Kalmadi! This incident is a big joke on us!

Today I was seeing an Interview of Kalmadi on DDSports. When asked about India's medal chances, he said, "Why, we have Sania, and,..." and fumbled for a whole minute struggling to remember any other names. At last he managed saying "...and other people". What a knowledge level! What a shame!
Now, we know why india is not winning any olympic medals. These beaurecrats kill the athlete's career. The guy who made this charge shud be sacked along with the clown Kalmadi.

You hit the nail on the head. So many years of hard work down the drain for some inept work by Kalmadi and Co. They should be tried for treason for not upholding the honour of the nation.

Northeast people are always discriminating, somtime we feel like we are not Indian.If it is happean to others state player just imagine what will happen.
this can only happen in India... we can not stand in support of our players ...even if they r innocent...our soprts administrators shd take a lesson or 2 frm pakistanis...the way they defend their traited players is amazing and we here at India cant defend our players....Shame on u Mr. kalmadi... Shame on Indian authorities and Shame on indian politicis where a CM has to use his diplomatich skills for such a cuase.... we indian r gone case....kab hum sudhrenege...
ppl in adminstration and govt ruining india by not allowing meritorius persons in various sectors.it is very sad to hear this story.no one can save...................
What a shame! She worked so hard to be on the team only to get removed by politics. China is 200 years ahead of India (no matter how many BS articles Rediff publishes that India is going to beat China)
I really pity her and people who are actually responsible will go scot free she should actually sue the federation or the people responsible, but in our country who is ready to be accountable

god knows how many nights naidu owed to shailaja so that he had to stoop so low to deprive a deserving candidate a chance of a life time. shailaja may or may not perform. but naidus performance is guaranteed to suffer (every night) here after. hi naidu i am sorry if you are innocent. but my sympathy for monika ,makes me use such words.
