India in finals with 4-1 victory over Japan

I tell that person coolly that this behaviour is unacceptable and that if it continues, our negotiations will be suspended. Calling a person on bad behaviour usually stops it -- not always but often enough to make this technique useful.Remember, that person wouldn't be negotiating with you if you didn't have something he or she wanted.THIS IS THE PAST AND FUTURES ANANLYSIS WITH CALCUALTION INTELLIGENCE GAMES BUT WE MUST RESPECTED BOTH SIR AND MADAM BY GOD FEARING TO PROGRESS DISTURB OTHER DEVELOPMENT. THANKS FEARLESS NEGOTIATORS...

I would surely watch the final tommorow, and will offer my best wishes to our hockey team.

"Agar kal ke 70 minute, apni team ka Har Player , apni zindagi ki sabse achi hockey khel gaya, Toh Kasam Sidhu Ki, Yeh 70 minute tumse India Cricket Team bhi nahin cheen payegi"

"Ek baar Indian Hockey Team Asia Cup Jeet jae, Iske baad kuch rahe chahe naa rahe, magar Cricket nahin rehega is desh me," :)

SHAME ON OUR CORRUPT BCCI, and their PAMPERED PLAYERS.

I FEEL PROUD OF OUR HOCKEY TEAM, AND I AM SURE EVERY SINGLE SPONSORSHIP WILL LAND UP in HOCKEY PLAYERS LAP ONCE THEY REVIVE GLORY OF OUR NATIONAL GAME :)

CHAK DO INDIA !! PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS BELOW

Games of the masses
by abboral boral on Sep 09, 2007 11:46 AM

It is surprising ,in this amazing comunication revolution like TV,MOBILE ,Our corporates are simply ignoring by not sponsoring abandanly for hokey, football, even kapadi ,the game of the masses ,the games are mostly played in the villages .We have got 6 laks villages in India .Out of that atleast 25% of tha villages are mostly well off and have playground and can afford to encourage these mass sprots .Corporates should now come forward by sponsoring any of that sports in a village by inviting top class sportspersons to play in the soprts in a village atmosphere and giving all kind of comfortable facilities and simply cover those sports through atleast regional TV Channels .I thing Dordarshan can play a vital role in this respect and can generate lot of revenues from advertisements and sponsorships.I am sure corporates will gain enormously by geneating more revenues for them .More over the products of the corporates will generates atleast jumping of 40% of veiwerships.I am at loss as to why this simple think of marketing is not attracting the so called big big corporates who only concentrate and depend on 30 % of urban populations for theie business .So sports can play a powefull marketing stategies for the corporates in near future .So emediately discurd cricket and sponsors for other sports .abboral@gmail.com

long live INDIAN HOCKEY !!!
by kapil paliwal on Sep 09, 2007 11:30 AM  | Hide replies

Hello All,
Indian hockey has always been pretty good. Plz remember cricket is a game played by pnly 6-7 nations and even there its second class game. Football in UK and other countries top the chart.
Hockey on the other jhand is played by scores of nations. We condone the loss in cricket while ecxpect the Indian team to bring the world cup every time we play.
Hockey has everything, speed, thrill, tactics, pace, strategy, physical fitness, finishes in 70 minutes and above all national pride for India!!!
Forget about cricket where all games are fixed (how else we are always 2-2 or 3-3 before the final game?)
Let us all see the India - Korea match tonite at 6:30 on DD Sports and support our bunch of heroes.
May we win the cup.
Best wishes for the king of all games!
Kapil

Also my best wishes to the "SARDARJI, in his seventies, with his GHANTA nad HATHORA; always ringing the bell ..." He is there everitime and everywhere India plays a match! Watching such a die hard fan is treat to eyes and spirit of the game and our country.
Watch out for him in today's match too!

Yaar Kapil

I saw one old ardent Sardarji gentleman ringing a gong (with a metal plate and a hammer something) cheering Team India in the match against Japan. But I didnt know that he was like a lucky charm for India and that he is there in every match India plays.

The media should find out the name of this great person, if possible interview him as he is an ardent fan of INDIAN HOCKEY and they should splash his photo across all papers and give him more respect Kapil. What you think ?

As you said .. if he is always supporting India in all matches .. then he certainly deserves recognition and also accolades as he is able to be so enthusiastic and cheer India even at such an old age.

This gentleman is a great cheerleader for India and we need more like him for Indian Hockey.

I have seen this gentleman in Delhi, Shivaji stadium, cheering India and in Chennai, during last Champions trophy (2005).In chennai media hyped him (print media) and the organising committe of Champions trophy presented him a momento and some monitory help during the closing ceremony of Champions trophy for his sincere support to our national.

Hockey - Indians playing in half sleeves !!
by Ganesh Ramesh on Sep 09, 2007 11:22 AM

Did you see the match yesterday. New jerseys for India.. All half sleeved shirts .. like Australians wear most of the times. Good to note that Indians are also changing the hockey uniforms as per the conditions.. because Chennai can be quite hot and humid for Hockey most parts of the year. So these kind of changes in players clothing to suit climatic conditions enables better performance also.. as players are comfortable when playing tough hockey, and for that matter playing any sport.
