has she reached the qtr finals of any Grand Slam in Singles??? Amritraj was the last good singles player from India in Grand Slams. Shameful.....in a country of billions, all we do is cheer 11 hyped guys in blue playing for themselves and endorsements, and a hyped up, overweighted, fake-accented tennis player!

I never doubted that Sania Mirza is a blown up star, as a country we have almost nill representation in Tennis. So if we find someone playing somewhat okay, we start worshiping such people. They fall prey to false pride and fumble during the toughest hours.
Anyways, Sania concentrate on the game, you can do much better than that.

Leave her alone for heaven's sake.. It's not cricket that she's playing.. I'm pretty sure she has more stamina than you do.. Encourage her.. Atleast she's one person who's represnting India without any expectations from the fans.. Be patient guys.. I'm pretty sure she'll get better over a period of time.

Sania has become a timepass fill up for media, when they need some space to be filled and that with a model kinda gal she is the easy catch where they need not pay her, for featuring the news plus a space filled with her Tennis dress Photo for which there are some crazy guys eager to cut and paste on their best viewed places :-) thats all tricks and trade of media business, who make money by advertising her whether she loses or wins... media needs money
