JK I'll take it as you are one of the best in your field if not then shed some light on your achievements..its easy to criticise someone but its hard to acheive that..Your are right Sania Mirza isn't the best but she isn't the worst..I'm not a fan of hers but appriciate what she has done..I hope she will inspire indian kids to take on tennis and then the world..we don't have any real good sportsperson in India but JK if you cant achieve anything then don't criticise..action speaks louder than words..I don't see any wrong if Sania has some fans..she deserves it..Its not easy to achieve that coming from India..No real infrastructure no support and no inspiration..she might have fat kegs but you aren't a demi good either...
we are equally responsible for downfall of our sports person... Even with a small overseas win, we make them Hero and ideal of our life... There are tons of endorsement contracts and their main focus is lost... its a shame that out of 100M population we dont have good players for various sports... See china who is equally populated but are productive in all area be sport, industry etc... agreed we dont have enough infrastructure of sports but who is equally responsible for infrastructure... we... infrastructure is made by human and is not natural thing... Time was there we were boasting of cricket even now cricket is in shambles... now we dont have any sport where we are truely champions... except chess which is just 1 or 2 man show.... in Olympics even a remote bronze medal make entire country proud... but is it really worth... 100,000 population country wins gold medal.... so on what should be proud of....

Yeah.. you are right..
but first we have to solve our basic problems and look at sports.. India has to come out of poverty, basic infrastructure, education, healthcare then we can aim for sports..
Sa'ala girls 16-19 are winning GSLam titles, and here Rediff is deliberately provoking readers with some BS. In the top 50???? Chee. In a place like Serbia, people standing in line for bread - they have kids like Djokovic,Ivanovic, and Jankovic - true winners. We have fat'ass Mirza at f'ing 190 lbs - first round. SHAME!
There is some deal between Mirza and this website that prints worthless news on it's front page. The rediff management team and the editorial staff are cheating Indian public by wantonly highlighting an average players wonderful(sarcastic) career. i think they are either paid by Sania mirza or have something else going with that woman ;)
