Very very heartening to hear this news when all that we find on the Indian Sports Scene is a "Great Famine." As regards to those who are trying to keep India's flame burning (even though very small), only thing the poor souls get is Cheap, Degrading Criticism & Trademark Leg - Pulling.
Anand is the real champion of India. He has won so many events in chess and has brought glory and fame to India. But unfortunately we indian people do not think beyond cricket. We all how our cricketer have brought shame to India by losing to Bangladesh and crashing out of world cup. It's now high time for Indian people to support our World No. 1 hero Anand and support chess and bring some good money into this sport. We should now think beyond cricket. Anand must receive all praise he deserve.
As a fellow India iam really proud of u from the bottom of my heart. Keep going Anand, in modern world any game needs physical and mental strengh. Chess a lot mental strengh, u proved onething bro, u keep the opponents in bay and brought new dimension to the nation and it was an announcement to the western world that ~ when it comes to Brain work its India is one of the best. Anand my humble request u r the master now, u can start a training academy and coach young talents who r hungry for success. The coaching should be in SOP(Standard operating procedure) and a clear presentation even a common should have a attraction to the game. If u do so the success of ur win over the game will be fulfilled. I can't advice but You have ur choice and u can do this in near future.

Vishy is one of our unsung heroes. Over the last so many years, Vishy has consistently been in the top bracket and defeating all the top performers of his era. Truly a champion. I remember watching Kasparov on BBC interview ( recently he has been leading a political party) recently prasing Vishy when asked a question on chess.
