Whether Fat or Round or a pumpkin -- she is doing -- what our men in hockey & cricket & football players have not done in years. How many sponsors backed her before she reached the present position?? I am sure she deserves a place in President's appreciation.
There is alot of pamper and fan following because of her game or her exposure. But atleast there is someone in the australian open to represent India and reach to the 2nd round. But people like pawan mishra, venkat p and sameer drolia doent have the Indian spirit atleast to boost the confidence.

The first line I told about her that she is a girl of 2nd round. See how confident I am about Sania that she actually lost in 2nd round.
By wasting that much money just to REPRESENT India and then taking a beating in the 2nd round itself is not representation, but brining blushes & embarassment to India. But Emotional fools like you would not understand this. Tennis is just not holding on to the racquet but to win some points as well.

Abe tu apne aap ko kya Feddar samj ta hain kya. She is the best tennis player in India for now and for your kind information she won Gold Madel in doubles and silver Madel in singles in Asian games for India. So first updates ur records before criticizing some one.

anyway kya kahu...Indians ko aadat hai faltu subject pe bat karne ki haaan jaise tu bakwas kar raha hai
Sania who, that girl who has a habit to lose in the second round of every tournament. Once in a while, if she advances beyond 2nd round, we are ready to place her on our heads.
I must say that though not possible, if some day if she would (out of fluke), win a major tournament, we would force a national holiday may be.
Over exaggaration of petty & inconsistant performances has already displaced our cricket team to dust.

I am sure she is not worth that effort. She just is not good enough for this level. She has to go a long way before she could be reckoned as any force in the women's league. Simple baseline play with pathetic serve is not going to help her anytime in her career.

she is the most talented youngster out here ignoramus.Does even Sharapova have anything like her forehand? You are going to make a fool out of yourself.

Something must surely be wrong with you if you are comparing Sania with Sharapova. With the current game that Sania has, even a miracle cannot help sania reach Sharapova's level. If you are happy to pamper about sania's one off good show, then so be it. Its time that you start watching her backhand, net game, base line game, pathetic service, unforced errors etc. At the same age, Sharapova's is in the top 5 players (without that magical forehand of Sania to her disposal) hhhh.

While congratulations are very much in place for this entry into the second round, if you think she can make it to the finals you are agreat optimist, a great wishful thinker and to put it mildly, Grandiose!!!
However, I hope I am wrong and you are right!!!!
Let us wish SANIA all the best so that your wish comes true!!!!
