An Indian holding 53rd rank in a global sport like tennis and entering the 2nd round of a tournament like Australian Open is indeed a pride for all Indians.Kudos Sania...keep going....BUt our grand masters, top athletes and shooters also deserve the same treatment.compare their performance with that of our cricketers(a game played only by 9 countries at the international level)and our cricket team is at the bottom of that table.
Sania you have begun the year in excellent style by making it to semis at Hobart. Iam looking forward for your Good Show at the First Grand Slam and hopeful to your third round clash with Swiss miss.
All the best for second round. Confident that you will be in third round
realy u r the pride of India go ahead and win everything alongwith my heart. Realy i m ur fan not like others but in real sense. Do keep my best wishes with u.
All those dumbs who are abusing sania do not have any idea as to how tough it is to make a mark in a global sport like tennis. She is ranked in the top 100 today which in itself is not an easy task. We will have to scatch deep into our history to see that we had very few players in the top 100 to match what sania has been performing at the begining of her carrer......
To make it in top 50 is a big deal but to be in consistently & keep improving performance is what every indian player should think about. She deserves a big wish from every indian though .... But should keep her mind in control & keep going. Dont do like cricketers who enojoy their fame by taking as many endorsement possible & keep giving inconsistent performance.
