Sorry guys leaving now....and sorry if i hurt anyone.
Just had a chat with a foreign client who was visiting India and is doing good business with us.
You know what he said apart from saying all amazing things about india and indians and that he was very impressed by our intellect etc. He said that "indians lacked the courage of saying they made a mistake and patch things up."
I guess i found it to be true atleast for a few ppl on this forum.

Just try to remember the last indian individual world champ in any individual sports????

problem is i do not use rediffmail account, so probably when i created this i had just put in some description in the profile....

all names you took are a handful of sportsperson in our 60 years.... and you know the reason why we have only a handful of achievers??? its because of hypocrites like you. I am sure you will not understand this.
If you can applaud PT Usha and Malleshwari (others are cricket players)...who have retired and Sania is just beginning, then why cannot you appreciate Sania???
It might be jealousy...it might be something else...but you are prejudiced...

Dont you think you are making a fool of yourself on a public forum....
Thats what we indians lack, dignity to say ok i made a mistake and put things in perspective.
Leander was never anywhere in singles. You talk of sharing podiums...Sania has regulary been beating top 10 and 20 players. She is the highest ranked singles indian player ever. Maybe in 2 years she will be the highest ranked Indian, man or woman.

I never said i do not appreciate other sportspersons...
Shiney Abraham never did anything extraordinary at international level...PT Usha's greatest achievement is coming 4th in olympics, Anjali Bhagwat (who cares about shooting, do you know who is the top player in shooting...no) Anju George, top international players jump 7:10 and Anju's best has been 6:57
Having said all this i think they are greater achievers then probably the top performers in their sports. The biggest reason behind this thinking is that they are doing this for a country of losers like you, who do not appreciate sports and achievements of sportsp[ersons for the country.

Yep i think it will only suffice to say that she is the highest ranked Indian women's tennis player. 2 years down the line she will be probably the Highest ranked Man or woman.

what makes you think i lied...and i know that if you say something against Sania who is a world-beater now you can say anything against anyone....
Sania has crashed out an unbelievable 49 times in the last 22 months - in early rounds. This means a sound 99% of all tournaments, and 100% no victories.Well, anyway one tier 5 tournament win, and that too 2 years ago.
Can this still be news. Some III tier tournament and accent-Mirza gets a sound thrashing, again and again. Just cut and paste text from reports on her last 40 tournaments. In fact save time, print next week's news on her now - it will be the same! Losing result.
So when girls from other countries win GSlams at age 17, and still are not hyped - ask, why Sania for a super-mediocre record?
