I watched most of the matches and this was the best match. Both played really well and Djokovic outplyed federer. I was still thinking in the third set and specially when it was 4-4 that match is over for Djokovic, but really a superb performance and little bit lucky.
It can only do good for the game of tennis where these guys are up to compete with probably the best tennis player in history. Monopoly in any sport makes it bit boring and I am glad that it is changing. Though, I am a great fan of Federer, I also feel that some times he becomes lazy or over confident in his shots. Still, he is miles ahead of others in all departments. Only when long rallies are played, he becomes bit vulnerable, which is the case why he has failed to triump on Roland Garros. Good to see Nadal and Novak giving meeting Federer stroke by stroke. That is what makes this sport so exciting to watch.
Djokovic is better than Nadal in his play, composure and attitude on the court. Nadal banks mostly on his strength and applies little sense while playing. Federer and Djokovic on other hand are players who keep thinking and extract other's weaknesses while playing. They also keep their cool and do not grudge like Nadal who disturbs the opposition
I saw the entire match and felt Djokovic was playing an inspired game. But Federer lost the match in the first set itself as he got a little defensive after 40-0 and serving for 1st set.
Overall, he was a little complacent and a bit too defensive during the entire match.

We had 18 wussies in the top 20 and only Nadal believed at least mentally that he could beat Federer...and now we have another formidable opponent Djokovic...Federer was playing his best...he makes those errors in all his matches...because he always plays risky tennis...it comes off against most opponents...but not against solid players like Nadal and Djokovic... I think Djokovic will beat Federer again in Cincy...but US Open is still a question mark because I dont think Djokovic is physically fit enough to win a two-week, best of 5 tourny yet...but he could prove me wrong this year...Go Djokovic...Go Nadal!! You make tennis more interesting to watch!!
