Sania need to improve mental strength
by on Jul 14, 2007 05:59 AM

Probably Sania need the training not for playing the tennis perfectly but for not doing unforced errors while playing tennis. And also she need to undergo the training for mental strength. Hope this would be atleast understood by her even now probably if she does some analysis of failures.

Sanis has no talent
by Raj on Mar 05, 2007 07:34 PM

She may be the best in India, but not good at the world level. Analogy, what is the point boasting about the talent of a bangladeshi national team player when some of our third division league players are better than them.

stupid idiot

she is no good than any other local talent. I dont know how she is still playing with so many loses. May be she can quit and make way for some new budding talend. We have seen enough of her play and more of her soap operas. She can now more active play in tv commercials then in tennis court( i doubt she would get any good offers.). Stupid rediff and timesofindia please wake up and realise what you are doing.

sania's problems
by dr.b.sreenath on Jun 29, 2006 05:57 PM

Reasons behind Sanias loss:
1.      Her service was at least 20 kmph slower than eleinas.
2.      Inability to improve her second serve.
3.      She is coming back from an injury.
4.      She played out 4 -3setters at Eastbourne.
I was reading an article on Sania in the Times- London, where she was trying to express herself, saying that expectations in India are immense and not always close to reality. She said that getting into the top 50 is easier compared to then climbing into the top 10.I cant agree more .The players in the top ten have that little bit more and to reach there takes 100 times more hard work and skill. Sania is young and still learning, lets give her time and courage so that she reaches her goals.

Not a surprise.
by Benoy Easaw on Jun 29, 2006 10:31 AM

This is not at all big news as Sania neither won any major title nor she defeated any top ranked players. There are many Indian players who really performed well in International championships and not getting needed media attention because of lack of glamour.

Killer instinct missing!!!
by jitesh on Jun 29, 2006 09:55 AM

Like all other Indians she has also inherited the gene that has killer instinct missing..look at all the other instances in the past where Indian sportsmen have just fumbled oppurtunities to achieve greater things in Life!!Be it Kartikeyan where his showing was worse than his Jordan team mate Montiero..be it sachin tendulkar whose 34+35(or more) hundreds have never won Indians any thing major.. or dravid who's struggling to beat a third rated underperforming West Indian side..We Indians are just Chokers and have choked in every field..
