No Wonder !! the fame and name is getting into her head slowly. She is becoming too commercial now a days and will soon face the fate of Sourav Gangulies of Cricket. It is time that she cuts off herself totally from all the commercials and media style statements and concentrate only on her game. Sania, we are proud of your game - not your commercials, T-shirts, style statements and nose rings.
If Sania stays more patient in rallies, she can avoid most of the unforced errors she is committing. She can win big matches and grand slam title only by reducing the number of unforced errors she is committing.
This is not surprising. Apart from the media hype around her, she does not yet have the game to make it big time. She will benefit if the media left her alone so that she could concentrate on her game.
Sania has been our best bet on Women's Tennis ckt. But our media and public tend to glorify performances. Though she has made lot of gains in 2005 in WTA rakings; there are still miles to go..!!
Sania needs to perform consistently again the best to take her game to next level.

We Indians have a mentality where even a small success of a sports person is magnified and the person becomes an overnight star. This is a media-inflicted hallucination. The same has happend to Sania. I agree, getting to top 35 world ranking is some achivement, but not so much that grab all the cameras and run behind Sania all the time. I cant stop laughing when I hear the words 'Hope of one billion Indians'. Poor Sania, she was never given any time to understand her achievements in the right perspective. She has done well, no doubt, but then not so much that she is already a super-achiever. Give her some time, she has a long long way to go. She has a precious talent, let her not waste that and get affected by paranoia. It's certainly the time that she relax a bit and enjoy her game rather than talking too much. I hope she is matured enough to synergise her efforts in the right direction.
Well they all start of well. But to see another one go down wiht time so soon its just getting to the extent of boredom. First it was the duo of paes and bhupathi, thye were brilliant and then a stupid ego clash and now they are seperate and never have found the most ideal partner for themselves as yet.
With Sania, i guees it was just a hype,it was the best that could happen to indian tennis, a player with talent and attitude, but somewhere i guess the latter took over and the former just hid its head somewhere. well sania, smart slogans at the back of ur shirt wont do any more any good, u were hardly an icon, anything more is just a misconception.
You are giving too much of coverage & media space for this girl. Not really worth it. Though she deserves some importance, I believe you need not promote her as a news item.
You guys are really popularising her in the name of secularism.
