Its great to see Sania Mirza adorn the Times magazine cover. Today Sania mania is sweeping the country. She has become a youth icon through a string of scintillating performances this year. Sania has everything in her favour-age,attitude, good looks and a never say die spirit. Dont be surprised if she breaks into the Top 10 next year.
Sania is unique among Indians to demonstrate the nerve and the rare killer instinct required to reach near the top of an international game like tennis. At the same time she protrudes the emerging confidence of a young generation of Indians unshackled by the opening economy. She is the hopeful face of a new India.
